Yep, they've all succumbed...finally. Go to the Official Book Page to see all the links.
Normally, the school creates the hunters - not the monsters.
Abby Sorrensten likes to play rough. Ripping the horns off the heads of demons, manipulating lightning and setting things on fire with the flick of your wrist can give you a serious rush. So she probably wasn't the best choice for the Order's experimental training program. Thirteen years of isolation, lack of affection and a bruised and broken body from horrendous training sessions creates more than just an exceptional fighter. It creates an evil within - an evil responsible for the several deaths the night she left.
Two hundred years later Abby resurfaces as the very thing the Order trained her to kill: a vampire. A mythical demon has set his sights on the school and only the ordained hunter has the powers to face it. Unbenknownst to the Order, Abby's their precious ordained one and their only chance for survival. As much as she would love to leave them hanging, she's not willing to risk the life of Emily, a fellow friend and hunter also fed up with the organization.
But for Abby, locking herself away in a fortress filled with angry descendents of those she killed causes suspicions and tensions to run high. Abby must learn the demon's weaknesses for battle before the Order learns hers.
UPDATE 10/16/2012: Ordained is now free at Amazon. To see all the links you can get Ordained for free, go here. If you've purchased previously and don't have the current cover, delete and pick up again. Ordained went through additional editing last year, so you probably have an earlier edition.
So I've been wanting to make Ordained, the first novel in the Immortal Archives free for awhile, and unfortunately, I can't do that by myself. In order for it to be free on a permanent basis, Amazon needs to know it's being offered free elsewhere. It's quick and simple.
***If anyone knows how to get Barnes and Noble to make a novel free, please comment below, cause I haven't quite figured that out yet. But you Nook people can download the epub at Smashwords for now.***
The Ordained Blog Tour is now underway! To celebrate, I'll be giving away a couple of paperbacks, several eBooks and lots of bookmarks at various sites. To find out where to enter, just head over to my tour page!

As some of you already know, my urban fantasy novel Ordained (The Immortal Archives #1) won first place in the Fantasy division for Reader Views 2011 . My prize was a free trailer made by Blazing Trailers. After watching I'm incredibly impressed cause as experienced as I am in the world of computers, book covers and HTML code, I find this whole trailer business daunting. So I'm so glad Kim over at Blazing Trailers was able to come up with this for me! Thanks Kim! And thanks to the readers that participated in the Reader Views competition and chose Ordained for Best Fantasy.
Reader Views just announced their Literary Award Winners for the 2011 writing competition. What is Reader Views? An organization that lets readers like you and me read and review the novels and determine their fate in the competition. Ordained was awarded First Place in the Fantasy category and given the Blazing Award for Best Fantasy Novel. Not quite sure why the award sticker says 2012 but I'll roll with it. :) I'm pleasantly surprised by this cause I had accidentally submitted pre-edited copies with some lingering grammatical mistakes, but luckily they forgave those errors and scored Ordained on its creative story content! So THANK YOU to all the readers that participated and took the time to read my novel.
And I've been awarded a book trailer for Ordained valued at $550. Looking forward to seeing what the professionals can produce (cause I really suck at making book trailers and I'm so excited to let someone else do it!!!)
To celebrate I'm going to run a giveaway! Besides the rafflecopter below, you can also enter to win a copy at GoodReads!
To celebrate the tour, I wanna do something fun, so I'm gonna give away one copy of Ordained, signed with a personalized doodle-graph. What is a doodle-graph? Well, I've done only one thus far, for a first edition copy (for Laura YA Indie Princess). I've recently released a second edition to clean up some editing mistakes, so the winner of this giveaway will get the only doodle-graph I'll be doing for the second edition. Here's a pic of the first doodle-graph:

So how can you win a personalized doodle-graph? You have through August 20th [CST] to fill out the form linked below. This is an international giveaway and you don't have to do anything special to enter. But there are plenty of ways to earn extra entries if you want to!
Obviously, with this many entry possibilities, it'll be hard to check behind everyone. Therefore, I'm only gonna check to make sure that the winner has done everything they marked on the form. Please be honest with your submission entries and play fair. I would hate to disqualify the winner and be forced to choose another one. Good Luck! And as always, the winner will be chosen by Random.org.
When you're done here, check out my blog header for some ARC giveaways!!!

Ordained is now available to purchase through GoodReads. I'm trying my best to make the ebook available for purchase for international readers. Currently, the ebook is available through Amazon (US, UK and DE), B&N Nook (US) and now GoodReads. For international readers outside these territories, your best option for reading Ordained at this time is via GoodReads (pdf and epub).
Okay, so I get asked this question ALOT!! I'm so focused on writing that I hardly think about the possiblity of it gracing the silver screen one day. But just for grins and giggles, I'm gonna indulge the readers and show exactly who would be my #1-gotta-have-or-the-author-won't-sell-the-rights-hissy-fit (okay, not really) to fill these roles.

Abby Noel Emily Valerie Gaius
Abby : Rachel McAdams : I don't think I've seen a film yet that I didn't like her in. She's a well-rounded actress and could pull off the bipolar eccentricities of Abby's emotional state with ease. Not to mention, who here wouldn't like to see Rachel McAdams in a physical battle with herself at the end of Ordained?
Noel : Skeet Ulrich : He's a dead-ringer for Noel with mad acting chops. Noel has the biggest secret to reveal amongst the immortals and he always knows more than he lets on verbally. He would need to be represented by someone that could convey that knowledge through eye and facial expressions - and Skeet Ulrich rocks that skill. If you've been living under a rock (or really young) and don't know who he is - go watch Scream right now. Go!!!
Emily : Emma Stone : Emily's a sassy rebel who's gonna be a pistol throughout the series, so who's better than Emma Stone? Seriously, who? (give me names people! - I challenge you but I doubt you'll succeed). Emily will play a huge role in how this series will end but she's gonna have to suffer from one emotional stab after another to get there - and I'd love to see how much depth someone like Emma Stone could bring to this character.
Valerie : Evan Rachel Wood : She's given some incredible performances in the past and she could do wonders for Valerie. I particularly enjoyed her in The Life Before Her Eyes and Thirteen.
Gaius : Derek Hough : Don't worry. If you've read Ordained already, Gaius isn't there. He debuts in Metamorphosis but I thought I'd go ahead and add some more eye candy for the ladies. I'm not sure if he's done anything outside Dancing With The Stars but he's a physical match for Gaius, who is the leader of Abby and Noel's organization - and a possible future love interest for Emily.
Alright, I've had my fun. Now I've gotta get back to writing. :)
