Canada Day (July 1)
July 1 commemorates the creation of the Dominion of Canada. Canada’s birth in 1867 was the result of years of hard work by the Fathers of Confederation.

On July 1, 1867, the British North America Act established “one Dominion under the name of Canada” out of the colonies of Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick, dividing it into four provinces named Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.

Canada Day was so named by Parliament in 1982; previous names were First of July, July the First, Confederation Day, and Dominion Day.

It's just not fun, NOT, NOT, NOT. Not only can I not find most everything I own, and what I can, don't know where to put it or what to do with it, but now I can't find the meds that keep me sane. Sane, Ya hear!!! Carl says they are 'somewhere'. They really aren't working anyway, but going cold turkey is not a good way to stop them. NOT.

Funds are tight, folks, really tight. Anyone interested in buying a real cute mobile home in WA state? Think we need to sell it, just don't want to be saddled with the space rent every month...It's a wonderful summer place, but I think Carl and I had enough of it over the last 10 months and the long rainy snowy windy cold winter that it's time for someone else to enjoy it. Give ya heck of a deal...

Well off to my depressed self...damn, where are those meds..need to get to the grocery store, don't even have the energy for that.

Shingles are the pits

Gee, I really thought by now I would be on the mend...I am up late/early whatever and however you look at it, 1:30 am on Friday..Happy Birthday, Mom..had to throw that in there.

The pain surprises me, and I was disheartened that I notice a couple new breakouts the other day, when I thought the blisters I had were healing. Rats...I did read on web MD that this could go on for 2-4 weeks.

Tried to go to bed, was hurting so got up to get a pain pill, watching House Hunters on HGTV and paid a couple bills. My sleep schedule is so bizarre anymore. Hopefully when I get into my own bed in a few days I can work out some kind of better routine..

Well, just whining and will try to head to bed in a bit..
