Mail Time

Hi Guys!
OK, so go ahead say it. A nice big double DUHHHHH!
Yes, I just noticed now that I forgot to color in the bird. :/ Rest assured that the recipient will have a colored in bird but as much as I love you all I'm not going to go back and take new pictures/ edit/ watermark etc. So! There ya have it.
And now don't go and tell me that you wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't said anything cos you know it glares at you like a headlight! And if you didn't notice you probably "speed blog hopping". lol
Anyway!
THis week's challenge at the Kraft Journal is
Emboss and Embellish
so I hope you can play along with us!

4Ever And Ever

Hi Guys!
How has your weekend been going? Its gone downright cold here and I'm not too happy about it.
Nevermind. The sooner winter comes the sooner spring comes. Or something like that.
Today I am showcasing another cute stamp by Tina Wenke. Love these little mice but let me tell ya, that water was enough to scare anyone silly. I wielded my prismas and Lyras and did my level best. I'm not 100% happy with the water but I'm not going to lose sleep over it either. Especially not during the day.
By the way, in case you're wondering ,I haven't made up my mind if this image is supposed to be day or night. My daughter says that regardless of whether its day or night, shouldn't that moon/sun be bigger from a mouse's viewpoint? Man, don't you hate it when kids are right??

Frosty Whiskers

Hi Guys!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Today's card I am featuring the art of designer Tina Wenke. It's the first time I've had the privilege to work with one of her images and I have to say its pretty cute.

Recipe:
Stamp: Tina Wenke
Colors: Lyra Rembrant Pencils
Paper:  Basic Gray
Web Ribbon:  Bunny Zoe's
Wooden Embellisments: Bunny Zoe's
Brad: Basic Gray
Liquid pearls
Pink ribbon: From stash
Distress Inks: Bunny Zoe's

I am also going to
with this card and here it is:
  • Colors – Fall colors
  • Papers – Pattern paper, polka dots, crepe paper (fun!)
  • Stamps – Men, senior citizens, leaves and, okay, I'm gonna say it, bare bottoms (like, maybe, cute baby bottoms?)
  • Color Mediums – Copic markers, Glimmer Mist
  • Embellishments – lace, thread, buttons, tags, pearls, ribbon, seam binding, twine
  • Techniques – paper piecing, sewing, layer your buttons, make a bow bouquet (a bow with lots of layers and elements)
  • Tools – Die cuts, punches
  • Themes –masculine, Autumn/Fall and make us laugh!
And our sponsor for The Catered Crop this week is no other than:

one incredibly lucky, randomly picked player will win a prize package from Copic Markers:

How cool is that? So you really have to join in with so many options and such a cool bag of goodies to win!
While I'm at it, how about a few challenges:

The Squirrel & the Fox - One for the Girls
Creatalicious Challenges -- Distress your Edges

That's it from me today! I hope you all have a great week ahead of you and thanks so much for coming by!
