Terry Gilliam's The Christmas Card
An oldie, but a goodie. I'd seen clips of this before, but never the whole thing.

Pencilmania
This Tom and Jerry cartoon (the human versions, not the cat and mouse) is an opportunity for the animators to have fun with the medium. There is no specific plot. One of the boys uses a pencil to create a myriad number of animated illusions that could only work in a cartoon. For example, a short vertical line is drawn, which when held by both ends suddenly becomes a saxophone. When played, the notes pop out of the bell of the instrument to suddenly grow legs and transform into ducks. After the song, the saxophone itself quickly follows suit and becomes a goose. The entire short consists of these disjointed, though often creative and humorously unlikely events. (imdb)

Alphabet Song
When P-E was kiddie P-E this was the show he watched. I hope this explains some things.
Alphabet song, animated by Owe Gustafson, from the Swedish kid's show "Fem myror är fler än fyra elefanter" (Five Ants Are More Than Four Elephants" which was a show in the same genre as Sesame Street. It originally aired 1973-75.

RIP Art Clokey
NYT Obit Here
He got ripped off by protestants, doing Davey and Goliath.
He had a daughter with keyhole irises who committed suicide.
He became an acid taking hippie who left his wife and started palling around with Essalen type luminaries
Amazing work that never becomes tiresome.

A Town Called Panic
Found this short film at Heyitsmejaya's Stumble Upon Page. This is the type of story you always hoped "Davy and Goliath" would've turned out while you were chomping your Frosted Flakes on Sunday mornings.
