The High - More...

The High were formed in 1987 in Manchester by former Flag Of Convenience bandmates Andy Couzens (guitar) and Chris Goodwin (drums) with vocalist John Matthews and bassist Simon Davies. Couzens and Goodwin had also been in a very early incarnation of the Stone Roses, and the High drew on the Roses' classic, ringing guitar pop -- albeit mostly without the dance beats -- for their dominant sonic flavor.
"More..." is produced by Martin Hannett except track 4 - "Make It Happen" which is produced by John Williams.
