The Beat Club started off in Miami in the late 80's as a studio project of producer Ony Rodriguez with his girlfriend and future-wife Mireya Valls on vocals. Their track ''Security'' drew influences from the Miami Bass sound and was successful enough to gain them a major label deal with Atlantic Records. Soon afterwards they moved to the UK and accepted an offer from Joy Division and New Order's manager, Rob Gretton to sign for his recently launched label, Rob's Records.

Security was first record released on Robs Records, remixed by Bernard Sumner, it was one of the biggest songs at Manchester legendary club Hacienda.

Sensuround - When I Get To Heaven

"When I Get To Heaven" was second single for Sensuround, released on Icerink - indie label ran by Bob Stanley and Pete Wiggs from Saint Etienne. I first heard about this band on a compilation called "We Are Icerink", collection of best tracks that were released on Icerink label between 1992 to 1994, including very rare track by World Of Twist "New Electric Pop And Soul".

This Limited Edition CD - technically a fourth single from the supergroup's second album ''Raise The Pressure" - was never commercially available to buy in record shops however fans could purchase it exclusively via Electronic's official mailing list. The CD itself has since become one of the rarest and most sought after items in Electronic's entire discography as only 5000 copies were pressed.
