Later they changed their name to 6 Mile High and re-released ''Hallowed Ground'' as single in 1996.

Founded in the mid-nineties, Swoon was one of the first Swedish bands to once again bring up the sounds of the British shoegaze scene of 1989-1992. As other bands turned to britpop for inspiration, Swoon took on the sounds of My Bloody Valentine, Ride, Chapterhouse and modeled them into new forms.
They self-released their debut cassette single ''Goodsign EP'' in 1997, followed by two other singles released by the band: ''Slipstream EP'' in 2001 and ''Encore EP'' in 2003.
First official record ''Jetglo EP'' was released in 2005 for Kitty Litter Records, followed by ''Everlast EP'' in 2006 for same label.

Tracks taken from highly expensive recording sessions in Barbados with producers Chris Frantz & Tina Weymouth, members of Talking Heads & Tom Tom Club.
There is a story that Shaun Ryder kidnapped recording tapes and held them for ransom until Tony Wilson sent more money over so both he and Bez could buy more crack. All they received at Factory Records were these tapes that features only instrumental tracks.

Basinger were a great Yeovil band that seldom get a mention in the higher echeons of the Yeovil hierachy of pop. The greatest Yeovil band of all time was undoubtedly The Chesterfilds and Simon Barber proved there was life afterwards in Yeovil despite many local upsurpers trying there luck, not to mention Beat Hotel and the Urban Folk collective (Simon Tucker take a bow... ) Basingers soaring guitars and backing vocals from Stu Harris totally complimented Simon's driving bass and lead vocal style,none so finer as on the track "No Thrill" which really deserved a far wider play on radio. Basinger can hold there heads up high, they did the Yeovil proud.
They released three singles: Something 7'' (1990), Boomerang EP (1992 Wilde Club Records) and Handsome (1993 Hair Records)
