Really obscure, hard to find single from Australian indie rock/baggy band 6 Mile High, also known as Yummy Fur.

Huge thanks to my friend Craig for copy of this amazing single. It was very long time in my Most Wanted Records list, i hope i will receive more records from the list, to complete discography of some bands and to collect some hard to find records from early 90's period.

Notes :

Antiseptic Beauty formed in Derby in Autumn 1989 (originally as a 5-piece jangle band called Evergreen). Clearly, they were influenced by Felt, and by much of the 'C86' sound. There was a small Derby 'scene' developing at that time (including bands like White Town, and later, the Beekeepers). As time went on, their sound became a bit harder, more psychedelic and fuzzier.

They released one single ''Rising EP'' in 1993 that was produced by Stephen Lawrie from The Telescopes.

One of the best albums i've heard this year is ''Deadwood Chronicles'', amazing indie pop album released in 1990 on Native Records by obscure and unknown UK band for me called The Montgomery Clifts.
This band released only one album and two cassette demo tapes, no 7'' or 12'' singles, i don't know why, album is full of great songs.
I've tried to find more info about The Montgomery Clifts, here is what i found on great Last.FM page :
''Formed in the short, damp summer of 1986, The Montgomery Clifts (Andy Bevan, Jeremy Purches, Myles Crampton and Dave Burbidge) decided that the only way to hear decent pop music was to write it themselves.

Thus, armed with a pocketful of pop gems, they made their shambolic debut in downtown Bristol, resurfacing at 6am on a winters morning at an open-air free festival in Cornwall, collecting and discarding various horn sections, string sections, backing vocalists and cellists, before picking up Bill Bell on a free transfer from the Blue Aeroplanes and heading for London (via Hull!). A charismatic demo tape and a string of live dates resulted in Capitol Radio play and Native Records stealing the band from under the proverbial noses of the major labels.
The resulting album, Deadwood Chronicles, was recorded in London with Creation in-house producer Ian Shaw and released on Native Records in 1990.
The line up was:
