Metro Trinity - Die Young EP

METRO TRINITY
Die Young EP
1987 Cafeteria

Notes:
UK indie band formed in Manchester in the mid 80's. They have jangle pop style and released an EP called "Die Young" in 1987 on Cafeteria Records. Members included Johnny Male (Airstream, Republica, Sensation, Soul Family Sensation) on vocals and Jez Williams (Doves, Sub Sub) on guitar. Other members were Tim Whiteley (bass) and Colin Rocks (drums).

Metro Trinity only other release came on a split flexi with the Inspiral Carpets on Dave Haslam’s Debris fanzine. Which featured the track “Stupid Friends”. The track “Spend My Whole Life Loving You” later appeared on the great Sound Of Leamington Spa Vol 1 compilation.
Andy Williams (Doves) joined the band later on, but does not feature on this EP. The band split up shortly after.
