UK indie band formed by Stuart Troop, singer - songwriter and musician based in Somerset.

Released ''Good Old Friends'' (7'' flexi single) in 1989 and ''Funny EP'' on German label A Turntable Friend in 1992.

After Hope, he formed  britpop band Telstarr and released few singles on Dishy Recordings.

Notes :

Antiseptic Beauty formed in Derby in Autumn 1989 (originally as a 5-piece jangle band called Evergreen). Clearly, they were influenced by Felt, and by much of the 'C86' sound. There was a small Derby 'scene' developing at that time (including bands like White Town, and later, the Beekeepers). As time went on, their sound became a bit harder, more psychedelic and fuzzier.

They released one single ''Rising EP'' in 1993 that was produced by Stephen Lawrie from The Telescopes.
