Airhead - Funny How

Airhead (formerly Jefferson Airhead) is a British indie-pop band that achieved some success in the early 1990s, at the tail-end of the Madchester music movement.
Forced to change their name from Jefferson Airhead due to its (deliberate) similarity to Jefferson Airplane, Maidstone band Airhead achieved minor UK chart success with singles “Funny How” and “Counting Sheep”. After releasing one album and a handful of singles, they were dropped by label Korova and released their final record, the That’s Enough EP on Mother Tongue. They are probably best remembered for “Funny How”, which although not their highest-charting single was played heavily on BBC Radio 1 at the time of its release.

Collectors Edition 'Fanzine' CD Single.

Airhead (formerly Jefferson Airhead) were an English indie rock band that achieved some success in the early 1990s, at the tail end of the Madchester music movement.
Forced to change their name from Jefferson Airhead due to its (deliberate) similarity to Jefferson Airplane, Maidstone-based band Airhead achieved minor UK Singles Chart success with singles "Funny How" and "Counting Sheep". After releasing one album and a handful of singles, they were dropped by their record label Korova and released their final record, the ''That's Enough EP'' on Mother Tongue. They are probably best remembered for "Funny How", which although not their highest-charting single was played heavily on BBC Radio 1 at the time of its release.
In 1996, Airhead made a brief return to the live scene, when they supported Kula Shaker, at the Tunbridge Wells Forum.

MadTube - Week 2

News for this week :

Single of the week is great baggy song ''Friction'' from early 90's Manchester band Asia Fields.
On 7th April they released long awaited album called ''Goodbye Frank'', a collection of band's first two singles plus a lot of unreleased recordings. Album is released for Firestation Records, one of greatest German labels at the moment, on limited edition CD & LP.

After 25 years, Thousand Yard Stare recorded new material, a double EP called ''Deepdreaming EP / Stargazing EP'' that will be released on one CD on 1st May 2017. First video from this new EP is great track called ''Epecuen''.

Great news, very long time i was looking for unreleased The Cygnet Ring album ''Hopeful Monsters'' and finally this week i received amazing quality rip of this album released only on cassette and sent to radio stations or newspapers for reviews. Unfortunately, band was dropped from their label and album was never officially released, i'm very happy that i'm one of few people who have copy of this fantastic album.

The Charlatans released ''Plastic Machinery'', first single taken from their new album ''Different Days'', featuring Johnny Marr on guitar.
