Notes :
Charmin' Children were early 90's baggy band, the Dutch answer to Happy Mondays and The Charlatans. They released two singles and one album.
This is obscure live gig recorded at Ein Abend In Wien festival, Rotterdam 1991.

Notes :
Despite of the Manchester sound, Charmin' Children was a Dutch band, from the small town of Hulst. The rhythm-section of the band were some ten years older than the rest, who were only 16-17 years of age.

They were picked up by a local record store owner, Joost Neelemans, who managed the band and produced the band's first cassette,  which was mainly sold in his own record store. That same year he got the band a record deal with Virgin records where the first EP "Uck" was released. Later that year "(0) 1140" the first (and only) full size album followed.

To their own surprise the band was more popular in Manchester than they were in their home town. When John Lamens (vocals, guitar) moved to Manchester, the band fell apart.
