Dreamscape - Cradle EP

DREAMSCAPE
Cradle EP
1992 La-Di-Da Productions

Notes :
Dreamscape was an obscure shoegaze / dream pop band from Bristol, UK, active between 1990 and 1993. Guitarist Scott Purnell, bassist Jamie Gingell, and singer Rebecca Rawlings released two EPs in 1991 and 1992. It was during this time that Purnell and Gingell were working on a side project without Rawlings, named Secret Shine. After sending Sarah Records their shambolic demo, Secret Shine was picked up and Dreamscape faded into obscurity.

Difference Engine - Breadmaker

DIFFERENCE ENGINE
Breadmaker
1994 La-Di-Da Productions

Notes :
Great obscure early 90's shoegaze band from USA, released two albums: ''Breadmaker'' and ''Calidad''.
''Breadmaker'' was their debut album, massively influenced by Slowdive sound with male & female vocals.
I'm sure ''5 Listens'' is one of the best shoegaze songs that you've never heard before. I discovered this band before few weeks, together with Dreamscape, i'm looking forward to hear more records released on this UK based label La-Di-Da Productions. So far, i'm very impressed.
