Notes :

Short lived indie rock band from Liverpool, formed by Ned Murphy, frontman of great early 90's indie rock band Rain.

Waste released one single ''Hang On'' in 1998 and this really fantastic album ''Songs You've Never Heard'' in 2001.

 

Some of the songs on ''Songs You've Never Heard'' are taken from Proper unreleased album.

Proper was another band formed by Ned Murphy after the split up of Rain. 

As Proper he released cassette single ''Empty Whole'' in 1993 and ''Catch Me A Star'' debut single in 1996 for Chrysalis label. Album was recorded but never officially released.

After Rain, Ned Murphy formed Proper and released one classic single called ''Catch Me A Star'' and there are rumours about unreleased album. After Proper split up he then formed Waste and released single ''Hold On'' and then a second single ''Highs And Lows'' but this only got to the promo stages
