The Seaside were indie band from Sheffield and "Idolise" is their only record. Great single, three tracks of 60's inspired jangle pop, must have it.

List of early 90's bands who announced release of their long lost albums is getting bigger and bigger.

Latest are The Seaside who are back together and finished their debut album titled ''Coastal Walks''.

It will be released on 1st October 2025 and is collection of old and new songs.

I've posted this great US spinArt Records compilation for exclusive track ''Begging Bowl'' from early 90's Sheffield indie band The Seaside who released only one, amazing single ''Idolise'' in 1991 and dissapeared from music scene.
There are plenty good tracks on this album besides fantastic The Seaside track, my favourite ''What Was Mine'' from Ethernet, also The Apples In Stereo, Ultra Cindy, The Winthers, Maylove etc.
