Maximum Bob is an alias Bobby Gillespie used for a one-off 12" he did with The Orb in 1992. Originally there had been plans for Bobby to sing on a track (possibly "Assassin") from the then-forthcoming second Orb album, "U.F.Orb", but that didn't come to fruition. Instead, they recorded "Sucker", which was only ever released on promotional 12" vinyl in the UK.

Some times after, Anthony Neale (vocals) (now frontman for The Truths), James Hartnell (guitar), Conrad Mewton (bass), Greg Cook (keyboards), Mark Aviss (drums) decided to stop playing together.
