Happy Birthday, IWSG!!
 |
It is my monthly whine: life has been busy. This month is no different. I just started working under a new agency with the same grants as before and had to move my office from one building to another. The thing with grant funding is, when your grant moves, all the stuff you purchased with it moves with the grant. I'm still unpacking and trying to catch up on the job after my short layoff. On the bright side, I was able to spend time with my granddaughters during the layoff while their parents prepped for their baby brother! He has arrived and the girls are back home with their new living, baby doll. Welcome to the world, Jack!
Speaking of birthdays, the IWSG turned 15! Brace yourselves, it's now old enough to drive! It's time to hit the gas and celebrate with some cheap reads! Because things have been so busy, I missed the original email, so these prices may not have dropped yet. Amazon may take up to 72 hours to drop the prices. Swept Away and About Her will be .99, so wait for it! About Us will be free.
Tucker came to the island looking for a ghost; instead, he found a girl... |
Cam helps Hayden escape an abusive marriage not because he loves her, but because it's the right thing to do. Loving her is the complication that may break his heart, again.
Shelley believes a cold self-truth: there are no happily-ever-afters for broken girls like herself. Mark is determined to prove her wrong.
Thank you to our awesome co-hosts for this month:
Kate Larkinsdale, SE White, JS Pailly, Olga Godim, and
Natalie Aguirre!
