When I woke up today my grandma called and told me "Happy bicentennial, Chlo!". I thought "yes, what?" and I remembered today is the conmemoration of the May Revolution. My granny told me a great party was going to take place at the obelisk, super cool :)

The Argentina Bicentennial is a serie of celebrations and observances that were celebrated on May 25, 2010, and throughout the year. They commemorate to the 200th anniversary of the May Revolution, a sequence of historical events that led to the viceroy Baltasar Hidalgo de Cisneros' being ousted from office and replaced with the Primera Junta, the first national government.
Bicentennial celebrations began on Friday 21 in Buenos Aires, with millions of people in attendance, making it the biggest outdoor party Argentina has seen since it celebrated its return to democratic rule after seven years of military dictatorship in 1983.

I finally saw it. Well-filmed and well-acted. However, I think there are better Argentine movies (e.g. Nine queens) But... well, I really liked it anyway. Good job, Campanella! I'm proud. It was nice not to read the subtitles at the cinema, LOL (I still read them, you CAN'T avoid reading them if they're there!)
