Would only a cynic suspect

the brand names are going to get the best ratings? Looks that way in the photo -- now if they had shown raw carrots with the fiber thumbs-up I might have rolled right over.

Someone is working too hard

I myself get exhausted reading his exhaustive output in multiple outlets every week, but he's clearly fried. ("Delicious," by the way, is no help at all to the thinking drinker in the Chilean aisle.) As an intervention, might I suggest what a very smart friend wondered of me: "What is your brain like on battery?"

The one title still available as a URL

Having gone to the Evelyn Wood School of Cooking, with absolutely no regrets, I have a total appreciation of book reviews as CliffsNotes: Skim them and you can skip slogging through the real deal. But a supremely smart review will send you straight to Borders with 30 percent-off coupon in hand. I used to think "The Woman Who Mistook a Dinner Party for a Career" was a memoir to be written. Now I know a party acquaintance has gone and done it.
