Lost in a Story is thrilled to welcome back author, Roni Loren. I interviewed
Roni back in January and since then her book MELT INTO YOU was nominated for a
RITA in the Single Title Contemporary category. Now she’s back to promote her
latest Berkley Heat novel CAUGHT UP IN YOU. And she’s brought along two
very special people: the stars of that novel, Kelsey LeBreck and Wyatt Austin.
Kelsey and Wyatt were good enough to answer our fun questions below—and
they gave some great ones (read down to see their favorite kid-jokes!). But
first, here’s a little bit about their story.

with Kelsey LeBreck and Wyatt Austin (You're gonna love it!):
LIZ:
What’s the best gift you’ve ever received?
Wyatt: An opportunity to get my relationship with my brother, Jace, back on
track. I wish we hadn’t spent so many years being jackasses about it.
Kelsey: A second chance at living the life I want. I screwed up pretty badly
the first time around. I still worry that I’ll become that person again.
LIZ:
What’s the most exciting trip you’ve ever taken?
Kelsey: I haven’t had a chance to take many trips. Money’s always been too
tight. But I’d love to go on a beach vacation.
Wyatt: ~shrugs~ I get to travel around the world for business. I’ve seen some
beautiful places but I usually don’t have time to take in the sights. Maybe one
day I’ll have the chance to slow down and enjoy them.
LIZ: What actors do you imagine portraying you in a movie?
Wyatt: Someone told me the other day that I looked like that Henry Cavill guy
in the Superman movies, but only when he’s in Clark Kent form. (Click here to see picture!) Apparently, I’d need
to wear a latex suit and a cape to look like Superman.
Kelsey: ~peeks at Wyatt’s answer~ Now there’s an
idea. : )
Wyatt: Don’t even think about it.
LIZ:
Can you tell me three things that are, at this moment, in your purse or pocket?
Kelsey: My appointment schedule for The Ranch since I can’t remember anything
if I don’t write it down, a recipe I clipped from a magazine at the dentist
office, and mace—because you never know. I’ve made some dangerous enemies in
the past.
Wyatt: Keys, phone, and wallet. Why would I have anything else?
LIZ: If you were given a chance to travel to the past where
would you go and specifically why?
Kelsey: I’d go back to when I was a teenager and instead of worrying about
some stupid guy, I’d get my crap together and go to college. Save myself a lot
of heartache and trouble.
Wyatt: ~looks away and peers out the window, frowning~ There are a lot of
things I’d like to go back and fix. Can we just move on to the next question?
I’ve got to get back to the office.
LIZ: What will always make you smile, even on a bad day?
Kelsey: Besides serving Wyatt breakfast at the diner? Baking. I don’t care how
awful a day I’ve had, the kitchen calms me.
Wyatt: Going downstairs to my home theatre and watching movies. I can get
lost doing that. I’m currently working my way through all of Hitchcock’s films
again.
LIZ: What is your biggest vice?
Wyatt: My tolerance for others is limited. I’m much more comfortable working
with numbers.
Kelsey: I act before I think sometimes. And that means I haven’t always made
the best decisions.
LIZ: What’s your favorite kid joke?
Wyatt: How does a tree check its email? Answer: It logs in.
Kelsey: Where do books like to sleep? Answer: Under their covers.
LIZ HAS GOTTA ASK: What do you think of the way Roni handled your story? Is
there anything she’s learned about you since publishing your book that we
should know about?
Kelsey: I don’t think Roni liked me or Wyatt very much when she first started
telling our story. We weren’t very likable people when she’s written about us
before in other stories. But I think when she got to know us better, we won her
over. Now she won’t stop talking about us. ;)
