Since my childhood, I've been enamored with the world of fashion design. This dream led me to the prestigious California College of the Arts, where I was fortunate to receive a scholarship that covers 70% of my tuition based on my academic and creative merits.

I'm grateful to be the first in my family who was able to go to university abroad and get the privilege to study here. Despite this incredible opportunity, my journey is fraught with financial hurdles. As an international student, I find myself in a unique and challenging situation. My inability to access federal scholarships or substantial financial aid means that the path to fulfilling my educational goals is steep and uncertain.

I live modestly off-campus with my uncle and his family to minimize expenses, but this choice comes with its own set of challenges, including a lengthy daily commute. My own family, living in a country with limited financial resources and strict international transaction policies, cannot provide the additional support I need.

To bridge this gap, I work multiple part-time jobs on campus within the restrictions of my student visa, and in my spare time, I pour my heart into creating clothing designs. This endeavor is more than a pursuit of passion; it's a necessary step to financially support my education. However, the income from these endeavors falls short of covering the remaining 30% of my tuition fees.

Facing these challenges, I'm committed to maintaining my academic standing to keep my scholarship. But the reality is stark – if I'm unable to secure the necessary funds, I may have to abandon my studies and return home, leaving my dreams unfulfilled.
