This just made me frightened of the cute little Cuttlefish... Watch as he sneaks up on this octopus from behind and has him for dinner!

Alien Like Squid Discovered At Shell Oil Site

This footage was taken a full mile and a half underwater by a remote control camera. This alien like creature has amazingly long arms and is apparently called the Magnapinna squid. The oceans of our world never cease to amaze...

The Vampire Squid Or Vampyroteuthis

This Vampire Squid is deep sea creature that is a cross between octopods and decapods. They have the ability to dim their eyes to make it appear as if they are disappearing into the distance. Just think of all the creatures in the ocean that we have yet to discover. Here is a video set to music showing this amazing creature...



Here is another video that shows you a bit more of the crazy creatures that grace the ocean. The list includes the decorator crab which uses pieces of coral and sponge to blend into it's surroundings. Very cool...

The Most Intelligent Creatures Of The Seas

This video is quite interesting... watch as these dolphins manage to blow air rings underwater, perhaps humans could learn a thing or two from them and start blowing underwater air rings instead of smoke rings!

Creatures From The Abyss

The Gangsters Of The Ocean

The pistol or alpheid shrimp is one of the most amazing creature in the ocean. Watch as this this shrimp shoots a stream of bubbles at it's prey that momentarily reaches the temperature of the sun! This stream is enough to stun or even flat out kill it's prey! Wow, the ocean never ceases to blow me away...

The Lost City Where Creatures Survive In 200 Degree Heat

Not only can they survive massive heat, but also the crushing pressure of 1000' of sea water! This footage is taken smack dab in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean... pretty amazing what you can find in the middle of nowhere! Prehistoric Shark Found



This video is quite amazing check out the weird prehistoric shark that was just found recently... I guess this just goes to show us all of the things that we still don't know about our oceans.
