You are growing so fast..

Hello my dearest blog reader, today`s sharing is for the company ScrapFx. I created a scrapbook layout with the beautiful faces collage paper called Contour face C silhouette leaves and transparency leaf. This is quite a easy page to do. I used for my background yupo. Yupo is a fantastic material to work with. It is perfect for watercolor and India inkt. You cannot use acrylic paint on Yupo that will not work. You can find Yupo in well- stocked art stores. Unfortunately, Yupo isn't that cheap, but it's worth it if you want to experiment with Indian- ink and wattercolor. But anyway... You are growing so fast. I used from ScrapFx: Contour face C:  leafy stem stamp:  ferny fronds black silhouette:  leaves and branches transparency:  Here is the link to Scrapfx:  https://www.scrapfx.com.au/store/  I have also a Facebook page link for you. https://www.facebook.com/scrapfx I hope you like my inspiration and you feel a little bit inspired to create with the ...

Hello everyone, and welcome to my second Guest Design project for the company  Shimmerz Paints . Once again I played along with the May release called "Flower Power Honey" This is such a beautiful Kit in soft pastel, brown and orange colors. The Kit includes also Vibez, Blingz and Shimmerz- fussy cutting paper, and decoration elements. If you like the vibe of the seventies this is your paper collection. Pauls Class... A closer look to my background work: For my background I used two of the beautiful paper sheets. But I shortened 2 cm from the top paper sheet,  so that the bottom paper sheet looks out at the edges. This is such a beautiful frame as well. Next I used two layers of clear Gesso on the front side and one layer of clear Gesso on the back side from my background paper. After my Gesso was dry, I added gel medium to a stencil and then I sprinkled randomly embossing glaze on the wet gel medium. After my embossing glaze was heat embossed I played along with the Shi...

It`s good sometimes to look back at what I already have created in the last years. I can proudly say that I have become a talented scrapbook artist. I designed for challenge sites, for companys, I gave online workshops, I had a YouTube account where I showed tutorials, I designed my own background scrapbook paper, I give group or individually scrapbook lessons and last but not least I gave Skype lessons during the pandemic. I have achieved everthing that can be achieved in the field of scrapbboking and I am very grateful for that. Still I have so much ideas for many many pages and I think there is not enough time  during the day to do it all. So my dear blog readers,...

Image
Hello everyone, and welcome to my second blog post for the company  https://13arts.pl/ . I created a scrapbook layout in mixed media style with the beautiful paper collections  Memory Lane  and  Rose in Love . My photo is from  https://www.instagram.com/marcin_nagraba/?hl=en  an amazing photo artist on IG. A closer look to my page: I started my background with a white wash layer and I added the white wash to my photo as well. A white wash is perfect for a dreamy look or for a shabby chic look. After that I added black gesso randomly to my background. Following by adding gel medium mixed with color glow and glitter to a stencil. The next step was stamping. After everything was dry I added my focale point and my embellishments.  These are some of the products which I used on my page. I hope you feel a bit inspired to create with the wonderful products of 13arts. Have a beautiful day. xoxo

13arts Mixed Media Canvas "NOTES"

Image
Hello my dear followers, how are you today? At the moment I am with my hubby on Spring Vacation  on the beautiful Canaries island. For my 13arts design team project in March I created for you a canvas in the size 25 cm by 25 cm. I started my background with adding white gesso to the canvas. I used a spatular for this step. After everything was dry,  I cretaed texture on my canvas with multipurpose gel medium the stencil postcard from France and  WOW embossing powder. This looks always very pretty as texture in the background. The next step was adding my focale point and all the embellishments. I used also the multipurpose gel medium as glue. After everything was dry I added a bit color  here and there to my layers, following by 3D powertex balls, pearls and glitter. NOTES... A closer look to my canvas: Lots of embellishments from the  Industriale Zone  paper collection. I used the stencil  Postcard from France  with Multipurpose gel medium a...

Here I have one of my favorite sentences which matches perfectly my scrapbook layout. Magic comes from what is inside you. It is part of you.  Hello my dear followers, I hope you are all doing well. Todays sharing is a scrapbook layout in mixed media style for the company  13arts . My background paper is from the Magnolia Dreams paper collection  and I used the paper sheet:  Sweet Magnolias . My color choice for my page was light blue, dark blue and copper. Before I started with adding color to my page I stamped randomly with the  Memory Lane stamp and Archival Black Ink. After that I added to the  Floral pattern stencil  from the  Memory Lane paper collection a mix from  Liquid medium  and  Rainbow color Navy Blue . I added the mix with a makeup sponge. I splatterd the left over mix also on my background. And I also used the gray blue color from the  Watercolor set  for big splatters. My next step was adding  Black Gesso  and  Color Glow Golden Calcite  (by the way this is my favorite Color Glow color). After everything was dry very well I a...

La vie est belle Scrapfx #3

Image
Good morning, how are you today? today is my last blog post in the month of January for the company  ScrapFx . Lucky me I have in my design teams a fix date so I can create weeks before I must post. That makes the work as designer so much easier, at least for me. But anyway, lets start with my layout. I created my ScrapFx layout on the new paper collection Secret Garden  from 13arts. My color choise was this time lilac, turquoise , white and black. I usually always prepare everything for my layout,  that means I have already chosen my photo and my embellishments. But in this case I started with my background. I had a little jar of lilac color over, which was on my desk and I was in a mood for a lilac color, so way not use it, right? I also used it on my chipboards: La vie est belle, love tag and the sketchy number from Scrapfx. After the lilac color was dry and my stamping was done  (I used the stamps: triangle collage stamp and circle collage stamp)  I ad...
