Carnival of the Cats #448

Meowza here, from the other side, doing hosting duties again. This week it’s the carnival. Yes, I know, no pic yet. iPhoto crashed and Mog went out for the evening.

Ah, all fixed now and here am I before I was. Fixed that is. I was one happy kitten back then, two days shy of being three months old.

me happy kitten

Humor me, these kitties got jobs in this economy. Doubt there are many jobs for the dead as we have everything we could possibly need here except for our humans.

There’s a new book out about feral cats, Fairminded Fran and the Three Small Black Community Cats, looks to be a children’s book, wonder if Nikita will want to do a review.

Luna relaxes in her own puddle of sunshine, ah sweet repose. Nice claws.

If one is to have an introoder, make it one like Patches here, one handsome tuxie. Some great shots of Maddie and Ivy too, they know what it’s like to have an introoder.

Here’s two kitties who have it worked out, Samantha and Clementine.

Susie is getting her easy on, sweet.

Nikita cleans the carpet, well watches anyway while Elvira hides in the closet. Mog had another kitty that did the same thing when she moved, funny that. The ladies think alike.

Elvira shuttles off to LAX with Nikita, both happily sedated. Nice group shot of them with their daddy.

They got their new computer just in time too, they are hosting next week.

Weekend Cat Blogging

weekend cat blogging

Welcome to another Weekend Cat Blogging. I don’t post much being dead but I do get the honors. Leave your links in the comments and you will be added. Thanks.

A clever shot of Maxwell’s kitty hand, no claws extended here.

Luna plays with an Angry Bird. 😆

Samantha misses Mr. Tigger. It’s always saddest when they just disappear. And Mr. Tigger was so loved in the Cat Blogosphere too.

Coco looks lovely under the fig tree. She has the most interesting reason for liking the tree too. Totally logical.

That’s all for this week, thanks to those that entered. Next week’s hosts are Pam and cats at Sidewalk Shoes.

Sorry up late, Mog failed to check until now, something about a crashed computer. Leave your links in the comments and you’ll be added.

Faraday is looking mighty pitiful all by his lonesome on the shelf. Come play with him.

Tuxedo Gang Hideout has a tribute to Beau, one of their original members and a handsome cow kitty. I should know seeing as we’re in the same place and a handsome cow kitty myself.

Samantha, Clementine and Maverick are having a lazy Sunday which I’d have myself if I weren’t enjoying all my new friends here. The Bridge is a happening place.

It’s Black Cat Appreciation Day over at Animal Shelter Volunteer. I’m all for that. So’s Mog. I bet even Luna would go for that too.

Thanks all, there’s still time to add a cat. Next week’s host is  Judi, Jules and Vincent.

Carnival of the Cats #439

For this teeniest of carnivals, a teeny picture of me when I was a little kitten.

Izzy and me

Well, maybe not so little. We were almost three months old and even then it was obvious we liked to play.

Nikita and Elvira survived an earthquake, blogged all about it too. I’ll leave it to you to find out how they did.

A pretty impressive display of ninja skillz by Ivy here. Possibly outdoing even me.

Maggie and Milo do synchronized stretching. They should have entered the olympics, such skilled athletes they be.

That’s all for this week. Next week’s hosts are Samantha, Clementine & Maverick. submit your post here or email carnivalofthecats(at)gmail.com.

Carnival Is Here Sunday

Despite being dead and happily enjoying being over the bridge, I am hosting Sunday.

Email your cats/cat posts to carnivalofthecats(at)gmail.com as Blog Carnival tends to be unreliable. Thankies.

Carnival of the Cats #432

Is being hosted here from the Bridge. So since there is no picture taking here, here’s one of Mog’s favorites from last year. Always got to have pics.

me checking out the tree

First up the cutest little pair of kittens down under. They are far from Ritzi’s grasp, hiss, spit, bite, swat. You get the picture. Why there no little kittens here.

More cats here too, all adopted. Warms my heart people take these adorable animals into their homes. Mog’s intrigued by the one named MacIntosh for some odd reason.

Luna poses with highway signs. You can rest easy no cats were harmed in this project.

Nikita and Elvira bring us the latest mews, er news for cats of course. Some of which is disturbing. I prefer cats getting adopted.

We like treats too as Diamond Emerald-Eyes demonstrates. Keep safe from that storm, better to be in eating treats methinks.

Eating and sleeping, that’s the life as Samantha and Clementine aptly demonstrate. Love the look Samantha. Now what would make this perfect would be petting and skritching.

That’s all for this week. Next week’s host are Nikita and Elvira.

Weekend Happenings

My girlfriend Sally, who I miss terribly, is hosting Weekend Cat Blogging this weekend. Seventh Anniversary too.

And my mom Ritzi, the most fractious cat ever, is hosting Carnival of the Cats.

Mog took thousands of pictures of me, one of which is this on from April 17 just a few days before I crossed. Can’t take pics of me here so these old ones will have to suffice.

me sleeping

Hope everyone has an enjoyable weekend especially Sally. Life is fleeting so enjoy the simple pleasures before crossing over. Many kitties await their humans here.

So now Mog leaves to go pet my mom. Or chat about us angel kitties, one or the other. The chatzy room is open.

Is here. Mog checked finally, duh! Slow human. My excuse, I am over the bridge. Did you know they have the most beautiful flowers here? And I can’t destroy them rolling either. Leave your links in the comments and you’ll be added.

Happy Seventh Gotcha Day Luna, hope you have many more. Unlike me, who only lived eight years. Such is life in the fast lane. You look absolutely beautiful as always.

Samantha and Clementine show off their pawsome pink tongues to good effect. Lots of tongue shots, great photos.

Ritzi shows off her tummy, which tummy I came out of. She’s been a happier cat without me to bug her, sad but true. She always preferred being only cat. So no new kittens for Mog until she leaves.

She misses me, awww! I miss my Sally too, lots. *nosekissies*

New Header

Thanks Ann of Zoolatry for the new header. She sent four, hard to choose but this one had me with a flower and you know how I love those. Especially here where I can’t kill the flowers. Or the birds, fun to chase but no killing. They did let me know how it felt when I did that. Sorry, it’s in my nature.

Sweet Thoughts

Ann of Zoolatry made this for me. So sweet, thanks.

Prayers for Meowza

I’m good, Mog may need prayers thou. She picks up my ashes next week which I’m sure will gender another round of leaky eyes.

Haven’t blogged much since I crossed over the bridge. Been too busy what with family and friends. Been playing nonstop. The greenest grass, most colorful birds, and lots and lots of new kitty friends. Another benefit to this place is better communication with the humans. Mog would love that.

I miss her too and my Sally. *nosekissies both*
