It´s Ccccold

Even the Duckies get cold feet, walking on ice... (ok, the rest of the Oker is still floating).
Red Dirt Mummy asked for pics of snow - yesterday was a perfect day for it!
Sunny, dry, snow!
I took this one pic, came home in the dark and got the message - gah!

Today is grey... and wet. The snow was like powder, with Ingo´s cam we could´ve made real great pics!!!
Today... not.
Lets see tomorrow, a bit of sun is predicted.

Friday we went to the city, Ingo needed new winter-shoes.
Dinner was at the Christmas-Market, Grünkohl was the choice, yum (here called Braunkohl, maybe cause it´s Braunschweig?)

I had fried potatoes with it, oh-so-yum! Ingo cannot eat them anymore, so, naturally, he doesn´t make them anymore. And he´s the cook, not me. (Probably I could do it. But I´m too lazy.)
The place was just packed with people, not fun.
We´ll try Monday again, a bit earlier.

When I came home I saw this Mini:

So... what, you ask?
Hehe, see this cute detail:

What a fan, huh?

They said this was the coldest start of December since registration of weather.
Oh, Gosh. Please cross your fingers it´ll be over soon.
It´s dangerous and so darn time-consuming!
I cannot use my bike anymore, either (and you´d be surprised how many old people still try! Bikers in Germany. A post of it´s own worth!
Like... no helmet, no lights, dark clothes at any time. (not me!)

Anyways. Today we wanted to go out for a snow-pic session for my Australian friend who most likely sits in the shadow with a cool ice-tea in hand or such.. but gah.
Wet, wet, wet. Grey, cold and dark. Bleh, Sorry, your kids have to do with the duck-pic for now.

I blame global warming. We just had a heatwave, which is three consecutive days or more, to finish off November and that hasn't happened for some 40 years or so.
