Give The Man A Break
Customer M said, "if you go into holiday THAT long, you actually have to give a going-away party!"
Since he loves sweets and since he keeps teasing me I´ll get eaten by sharks and crocs ... ummmm, no use to tell him where those usually are and who knows what´ll happen at the zoo - is the huge croc still there?
Pic taken 2006, guess if he´s still there he´s too old to eat me up, he looked so dang old back then...
My point is, I wanted sweets and animals, so I went to the Bärenland.
All I found, though, was a huuuuge package of not-yummy-looking zoo-animals.
So I searched on and found gummy bears "Cuba Libre" - sounds like holidays at least, huh?
Then I stumbled over gingerbread-gummy bears! I picked one, too. The rest, actually. I thought they might be really yummy, plus they were cheaper - Christmas is over, right?
At the cash-out something went wrong and I ended up with the gingerbread only.
Shoot.
But thanks to Carillon City and their Christmas-ad I at least could make some sense of it all, even better than with Cuba Libre, actually :-)
The sign says:
"On request!
Holday is like Christmas, right?
So.... (pic Santa "Give the man a break.")
(To the right pic from Caversham 2013)
It´s only sleeping. It´s on holiday.
Help yourself :-)
And bye-bye!"
Wow, did the place smell like Christmas, everyone loved it!
And I mean everyone!
When Wiki, as we call ### now, cause he has to say something to every.thing, when he isn´t there people come into my office for a chat!
Actually today I was working only a wee bit.
M certainly loved the gummy bears and told me of some of his journeys.
Later U came by - due to the smell! - he´d been to Sydney for a week (job-wise), told me about that and his journeys throughout the USA. The weirdest stuff happened to him. Plus he said he never was afraid of people probably having a gun or such.
Have you heard of Horseshoe Bend (Arizona)? Awesome!!! Have look!
New teamleader came by several times, R, who bought our Moped, C, V....
And I didn´t feel bad cause except teamleader they all are my customers, so... when they feel the need to chat, that service I can happily deliver, right?
And now: HOLIDAY! Need to start packing soon!
I know. I´m slack. Everybody asked me if I´m done packing and got wide eyes when I said I didn´t even start yet.
But, really, what do we have to pack?
The Goods and Services Tax in Australia is what, 10%? Ours is 19. China is nearer to Australia, too, making the prices lower than here.
And the euro goes down, so we plan to buy clothes in Perth.
We only need so much clothes we can safely bring our pressies :-)
Well, and fill two bags, so we don´t have to buy yet another one in Perth as last time, when we arrived on purpose with just one.
Luckily the snow so far failed to come - if it happens now: Who cares.
We take a break! :-)
