Something Splendid Girls Only mini album in the box with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here and today  am going to share my Girls Only mini album in the handmade box that was created with the new and most gorgeous BoBunny Something Splendid paper collection.

Something Splendid collection is vintage style girly collection with friendship orientation and as a such it's a perfect one for girlfriends albums, layouts, cards or tags.
So  as this week the DT members were challenged to make projects using stickers I made this mini album in the box using this paper collection, lots of this collection stickers, layered chipboards and some other BoBunny and American crafts products.

I tried to make this box pretty flat, so the recipient of this box and tag album can  carry it in the handbag.
I used the collection tag cardstock as my reference for the size. There are 8 tags in this cardstock and the size of the box fits the tag mini album that is inside the box.
I didn't add the photos (should be on the back of each tag and trimmed to size), as this is a present for my own girl and she will add the photos of here own girlfriends later.
The front was embellished with cardstock pieces and then a few Combo stickers were added on the " seen" side on the front. The flap was embellished with layered chipboards and one single blue flower was added over the chipboard piece.

The opened flap was embellish with more Combo stickers and I enve used the side leftovers as some sticker strips.

The top was embellished with one more layered chipboards and it actually looks like a book cover.

And now the tags that were connected with a simple binder ring into a mini album. As you can see I added some gold transfer sayings over some of them and some Combo stickers over the others.
Each tag was matted over American Crafts black textured cardstock; the same cardstock was used as the base of my handmade box.

And now some more of the tags for you to see:

And just to say: this project is easy to make and you don't need any fancy  or expensive tools to make it in just two hours. Just buy Something Splendid BoBunny collection and you are done!

Celebrate and make a wish card: Oriental style

Hello  my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again with my new Oriental style card and this time it's a Birthday card full of bright colors and gold using Die Versions Oriental dies collection.
I used light blue card as my base and added a real Japanese paper over it. As this paper has gold  I decided to stay with gold and made the die cut of Whispers - Ginger Jar  die in gold. I kept the negative and used it under the die cut over the card.
The vase was layered over double sided glue sheet and covered with perfect blue glitter.
I added a few  pieces of gold washi tapes and some SRM stickers as stitches and sentiments.  The paper has a bit of red over it. So I added a couple of red rhinestones  and red stitches to make this the complimentary color for my card.

So with just one die  this card is a shiny and full of color and just perfect for both genders.

Celebrate card with DV

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first September Die- Versions post.
Today I begin to show my new release Holidays dies and I really love the possibility to make Holidays cards/projects and not a specific Christmas ones for those of us who celebrate another Holidays.
So this card is a Winter style, very general for any winter Holidays Celebration and was made with one single new die, cut from silver cardstock and some Indigo Colorways line PHP products only.
This is a die I used to make this card:
Whispers - Reindeer Sleigh

I hope I have inspired you to create something fun today!  Please be sure to check back to the DV Blog often for more great ideas on how to use your dies!  And please share with us what you make on the DV Facebook Page.

Love takes us home: art journal pages with Rubber Dance

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here and I welcome you  to my new art journal double paged spread made with A LOT of Rubber Dance stamps, but also with self made stencil, lots of mediums  and a lot of free hand doodling too.
It's almost impossible to make a tutorial about art pages; so I  just explain the working process and will give you some tips about this page.
First I picked the theme and it was Home. Then I found the saying that said " Life takes us to unexpected places, but Love takes us  home". From now on I picked colors (just black-grey and yellow) and home connected things. I made brick wall with texture paste and heat embossing with clear embossing powder. I was looking for  stencils with houses and didn't find any in my stash, So I die cut the very old Sizzix die strip with sky line and made my own stencil, the one that cross both pages in the middle. I outlined the houses with black pen and made a white paint circle over one house that was picked as the " HOME". That house was also stamped over with a heart  RD stamp from I heart art set.

Different stamped words (Rubber Dance A little Birdie set ) were stamped over the sky line strip and the last one was Love (that takes us home)
Some background RD stamps were widely used over the page (Mesh from New retro beach set, Splashes from Funny Birthday set, numbers from ATC Backgrounds 1, Diamonds background, Old compass from Travel set, to show us the way, Love always sentiment)
As the final part I added chipboard title on the right page and a lot of yellow mists around.

I really hope I inspired you to make your own art pages with a lot of gorgeous Rubber Dance stamps.

Same stamp- three ways (and one extra)

Hello my dear crafty friends !
This is my monthly post for WOW! Embossing Powders blog and this month we challenge YOU (and ourselves ) to make three different projects with the very same WOW! stamp (and a lot of WOW! Embossing Powders).
So here is my take of this challenge.

And as got a lot of MOJO , I  made not three , but four cards with the same stamp and totally different techniques. But wait! All cards  can be made in like 15 minutes and this is the best part of the crafting when you are out of time.
I need to  say that it took me much more than those 15 minutes, but it was because I had no clue about the technique I am going to use or the final result of this technique. So I just tried a lot and then , when I made a final cards for this post, it was certain that 15 minutes for each card are sufficient.
I used the same  Blizzard stamp  for all 4 cards and two different sets of sentiments to add the sentiment.
I made all 4 cards the same way: one stamped image with " this or that" technique  glued over the basic card.
Stamped  sentiment with the same technique and same colors as the background image and  matting with the same, as the card background, cardstock.
Card #1: Gradient embossing
For this card I made stamped with VersaMark ink over  cream color cardstock and made strips of heat embossing with 6 different shades of blue.
I used them from the lightest to darkest and mixed between regular and glitter colors.
The colors  used are: Opaque Pastel Blue, Nice Ice Blue, Primary Blue Topaz, Calypso, Opaque Primary Azure and Opaque Primary Process Blue.
The sentiment was stamped with Primary Blue Topaz over the same cardstock and I used a stamp from Everyday Sentiments set.

Card #2: Stamping over black cardstock
For this card I picked  Metallic Gold Rich Super Fine powder as golden effect over black cardstock is very classy and elegant. I used the very same stamp with this very same embossing ink and the result is delicious.
The sentiment was stamped over black cardstock the same way and I  used With Love set this time.

Card #3: White on white stamping and misted background
For this card I used white cardstock and Opaque Bright White powder and then misted it with a mix of  light gold mists. I used the sentiment from Everyday Sentiments set.

Card #4 and the last for this post: Rainbow technique over white embossing
This is a technique I already shared , but I love the result, so I made an extra card using this technique.
This time I heat embossed with  Opaque Vanilla white over cream cardstock as white on white can't be seen on my photos. Then I made the punched mask and  inked inside with three primary StazOn colors (Blazing Red, Azure and Mustard). The result of mixing  gave us this 7 colors rainbow. The sentiment was stamped in the same way, but as it was not much seen, I added some green ink over it. I used  With Love  set this time.

And now it's your turn! Play with use and win some of our gorgeous goodies to make my kind of cards!

PWP Mixed Media Monday: Making 10 minutes bookmarks

Hello my dear crafty friends! This is my Spotlight Sunday post made for PWP blog and Spotlight means to show you some  great crafty ideas , using our stamp sets . So how about to make some quick and lovely projects that take 10 to 15 minutes only? We really are short of the time and sometimes this is an only spare crafting time we have. And then, how about   some really useful project?
I love to read. I really finish a book a week and I never have a nice bookmark to use. So today we are going to make a couple of lovely and quick bookmarks using our lovely PWP vertical stamps.

First I  stamped an Owl panel  and  a Bird  Panel vertical stamp over white cardstock with clear embossing ink and heat embossed it with Black EP. Then I picked a bunch of Faber Castell DMD Gelatos and just made some lines over the stamped images.

I decided to make the Owl in greens- blues, with a touch of yellow and the Bird in red- orange and yellow tones. I used a wet baby wipe to spread the colors and then added a bit of shimmery paint over the flowers and leaves and made a shiny painted moon .
The last step was to make black cardstock  long tags, to add some buttons and to tie a tassel/fabric bow.
Both tags were made pretty flat as we want to use them as our bookmarks.

And now it's your turn! Go to PWP shop, grab  some vertical stamps and made the similar projects for you or as a lovely quick gift.

Masking technical challenge om Sweet Stamps blog: Fancy tag

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Sweet Stamps Masking challenge.
This week I made a fancy and shabby huge tag and I also used Flourish With A bling lovely products as this my other DT and it was so natural to add those gorgeous blings to a shabby tag here.

I stamped 1900's  Lady stamp over the patterned paper and then stamped it again and cut to use as my mask.
Then I stamped Baroque border stamp over the mask and as you can see the lady is not covered with another stamp, but it's all stamped around and heat embossed with gold EP.
All other things were just " embellish me" kind of crafting.
A huge bow was the last touch on this tag.

And now it's your turn! Play with our monthly masking challenge and you can win!
