You are the best Dad: Sweet Stamps challenge #173
Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here with my FATHER'S DAY card made for our weekly challenge here on Sweet Stamps blog.
You still can enter this challenge today and maybe it will be your lucky day!
So I used kraft base , some light patterned paper and stamped 9 squares with 2 stamps only over this kraft cardstock.
Some washi tapes and black pearls were added to make it more interesting and I think my mission to make a masculine card was a success.
Here are the products I used for this project. You can get them in our Sweet Stamps shop and to make some similar projects too.

CHF Sketch week: A great day
There are two DT posts today- so please scroll the blog for the second post.
Hello my dear crafty friends1 Irit is here again with my new card made for Cornish Heritage Farm sketch week.
The best thing with sketches is that you can rotate them and to make them your own and still to see the sketch you used.
So I rotated this sketch to the vertical position and made this 3 color card using a lot of easy techniques. The background designer paper (MMY) was dry embossed and I used the pink on on the embossed side and the flowers design from the back side. Both embossed papers were inked with black ink to fit the basic card.
I made a brick die cut background with DV die and then printed the CHF Digital stamp Flower Jar (re sized to fir the card) over some thin plastic and not over the paper. I added a lot of clear embossing powder and heat embossed the printed image to make the ink permanent and to get this shimmery look. Then I hand cut the image and colored it a bit with Copics (it became permanent and Copic works great over plastic).
As the sentiment I added this die cut and some red pearls were the final touch of this card.
See you again in 2 weeks and hope that my " real" stamps will be here for more techniques to use.

IBS NEW RELEASE: Blowing wishes your way
New month- new Inspired by Stamping release! And this is my card made with Pinwheels gorgeous set in this mute, sort of pastel palette.
I made card with a tag over it, using a lot of washi tapes punched to 1'' squares to make the background and adhered the tag with same washi tape. The pinwheel was stamped over washi covered Kraft cardstock too and heat embossed later with clear embossing powder. The sentiment was stamped over a regular cardstock, but in the same color.

Sweet Stamps monthly challenge: Dryer sheet technique
Hello my dear crafty friends! It's our monthly Technical challenge here on Sweet Stamps blog.
Today I am going to share the card made with Dryer's Sheet technique.
This is a very simple technique (if you do have a single drier's sheet and was a problem for me as we live in a very hot and dry country and use our drier one month a year... ). So get yourself a piece of a drier sheet and enter our Monthly technical challenge as you can win a lot of great goodies from the shop!
And here is my card : this month it's Christmas in July theme , so I made the Christmas card for the future use.
I stamped 2 Ginger Bread Boy and Girl Duo large images over the MME patterned (slightly) paper; colored them with Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Pitt India Ink Artist pens and then covered the whole piece with a liquid glue. For this technique you need to use permanent inks and markers, as the glue (any glue) can damage the colored images, so go for permanent this time, please. Add your dryer's sheet over and press. Sprinkle our delicious Sweet Stamps Micro Fine Transparent glitter over the wet piece and let it dry.
Trim the piece to a square shape, make some border punching of 2 other PP pieces and made your red card matting with CLD Cardmaker rectangle largest die.
Stamp " Happy Holidays" Old fashion sentiment OVER the leftover, drier's sheet covered piece of cardstock (this time we stamp over the covered paper, not under it) and again, use a permanent ink. Embellish as much as you want and your lovely " technical" card is done.
Now make a card with the same technique and enter our Sweet Stamps monthly challenge!

Family today mini album with GJS
Hello my dear crafty friends!
This is my monthly post for Genuinely Jane Studios and this time it's my Family today mini album.
The house shaped mini was just perfect for my son's family photos and all pages inside are very simple (not the cover), also I used a lot of dies over those pages.
All papers in this mini are from one single MME 6*6'' pad in 3 colors only; all dies are from Die Versions. The tags are from Pretty Little Studio, wooden embellishments are LYB .
Here is my cover:
And some close ups to the title made with Tando Creative chipboard together with Tando gate.

Sweet Stamps monthly challenge: Flip flop card
Hello my dear stamping friends! Our monthly Sweet Stamps challenge is to make a Flip Flop card and I decided to make my own version of this card.
So here we go:
Circled Flip Flop card
Step 1: Cut a piece of a basic cardstock into 5.75*6.25 ''
Step 2: Make pencil lines on the back of your card as shown: the first one is 2.75'' from the edge and the second is 4.25'' from the edge; each one should be 1.25'' long.
Then add same lines on the bottom part of your card, but make them 1.75'' long. Score all 4 lines and don't fold yet.
Step 3: Using any possible circle cutter cut the circle on the card front, but don't cut the upper and bottom piece in between scored lines. Now your basic card is done.
Step 4: Cut 2 circles a bit smaller then your partial main circle used any solid cardstock you want. I used Kraft one. Stamp your Butterfly Bookmark stamp on one of the circles, as this is a long vertical stamp make it partially on both circle sides. Use clear embossing ink and Red embossing powder and heat emboss it. Glue the stamped circle in the middle.
Cut LOVE YOU die cut using Die Versions Everyday Complements die from Kraft cardstock and glue it on the side, as this side will be seen when your card is folded.
Step 5: Cover the card with MME 6*6'' pad patterned paper as shown. Die cut die border with Cherry Lynn Border Carnivale die and glue it on the side. Tie a green ribbon as shown.
Cut Tropical Flourish from CLD die and add it over the ribbon. Paint it with Olive Green,Citrus and Bright Yellow Creative Inspirations Paints.
Die cut a lot of flowers with Build a Flower #1 die, arrange 3 flowers using brads and glue them over the leaves. Paint them with Garnet CIP .
Step 6: Fold the left scored line back (mountain fold). Then fold the right scored line to the front. Now you can see Love you sentiment on the front.
Now open the card and you can see the whole butterflies stamped image.
Enjoy your project!
Now it's your turn! Come and play with Sweet Stamps monthly challenge: make swing card and enter it to our challenge to win!

You are my cup of tea tag (actually more my coffee)
Hello my dear crafty friends!
Since my school days I remember this " not my cup of tea" saying, but I don't like tea (also Earl Grey one is great if you have a common cold), so I used this stamped sentiment, but for me it means " my cup of coffee" and it should be very strong one).
I used a pre- made wooden tag. covered with MME paper, inked around and then I used (my very first time for this chipboard set) this delicious Tando cup. I stamped over the white chipboard, added some white embossing powder over the bottom part of the chipboard. Then I added liquid applique brown paint over heat embossed copper one and some pearl paint over the steams. And is it was not too many mediums used (ha- ha- ha), I covered the stamped cup with glossy accents.

One day in May
I made some free time and decided to make a page for some web challenges. I made it for Berry 71 Bleu sketch (sides switched) with chipboards, Artastic use masks, Molding paste for Show us your staff and lot of flowers for Get Creative challenge .That's it. So here is my new lo with my adorable 2 years old grandson.
It's what I call " light Mixed Media " project: some gesso and masks (Tando Creative), some paints, not a lot as I wanted my photos to stay the star of this lo. Some die cuts (words and cages from Die- Versions, tags and tabs from Sizzix). Home misted flowers (Prima white to blue), some washi tape. Painted May word in the title, light hand written journaling. And one stamped sentiment from Paper wing stamps I won and just got.
