Inspired by Stamping February release: Iris

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Did you see Inspired by Stamping new March  release? You should!
Those new stamp sets are so gorgeous and yet so versatile!
Today I am going to show you my layout with Iris stamp set.
This stamp set was just perfect for our Black Iris of Gilboa (the mountains here) photo  that I have for a year or so and  I scrapped it with a lot of Irises stamped around the page and used a  stamped word Iris as a part of my title.
My stamped images were watercolors  and as it's just a background you don't need to be a great coloring artist to make it (I am not...)

The stamped part of my title

And some close ups to the photo and stamped Irises.

It's Free shipping for any $25 and more order during March 10th for 24 hours .No code required and it will be ended March 11 th 7 PM Brisbane time.

Buy all 6 new sets as a bundle and you get 10% discount and free shipping too.
And finally our BLOG CANDY: comment in Joanna's blog during all release days and you can win a gift card each day! It's 5 total chances to win some great stamps randomly! Just comment!

Back to my handmade Calendar: January and February pages

About a month ago I  got this lovely blank calendar from 100 Proof Press shop and made the cover. I decided to make the monthly page each month and to show it in my blog, but January was a very busy blog month with a few guest design teams etc, so I will show you both January and February pages at once and then continue with monthly  posts.
So here is the cover again-  with full Calendar  Blocks stamp.

I decided to make my monthly pages in the very  similar layout: a tag, a month stamped and cut from the 12 month calendar stamp, an open book stamp and small stickers month name over it. The colors are a fit to the month, some washi tape keeps the tag  and some small embellishments.
So he is my January: winter blues and greys, some shiny color splashes, a metal charm painted with enamel paint over it. It screams Winter and January. (Authentique papers as my double background)

And now for February- also it's still winter, I made it in a very vintage Valentine style , with Pion Designs  papers, pink letters, some mute Petaloo flowers and a gorgeous Handmade Halo glass pebble.
Again- month February stamped and cut and the open book to make the word with stickers. And yes, it's a bit bulky and after 3-4 4 month I need to take some embellishments off if I want to leave it on the wall. So what? I love it this way for a whole month!

Hope you like it too.
Want to make a similar project? 100 Proof Press blank calendar is in the shop and 2 stamps you need to make this project are there too: Calendar and Open Book. Everything else is " whatever you have at home and don't use...". So go and use it!

This lo  made Top 3 on Quck Quotes challenge- thanks

I also added some Handmade Halo goodies and used a lot of WOW Embossing powders on this page. The circles are Tando Creative mask and I also used some gel mediums, lot of distress stains and inks, pumice paste etc to make this page look so distressed.I also stamped some music background over  the bare swirl chipboards.

Postcards form the past set

This cute mini set was made with Pion's Designs postcsrds and for them. So I handmade this cards holder, stamped and embellished as much as possible for this mini set. The inside envelopes are Tim Holtz ones, cut and dry embossed and embellished with stamped images. Then I added those vintage  Pion's Photos to the postcards and embellished  them as much as it was possible for the flat creations.
Stamps are Pink Paislee, MME  and Prima.
Here is a all over look of this set from the front
See the texture here
The back
All cards inside the envelopes
And all cards out of the envelopes

We are lucky to love you

My DN Tamar is my latest inspiration, as she has those fantastic photos given to me by my sister, so this is her new page and it's fresh as she is.
I used Pion Designs papers and hand cuts from Children, Animals and Valentine cut outs, A2Z February Sketch and chipboards (flowers and a cage), Tando Creative clock mask, Tim's clock die- twice and lots of other embellishments (Prima flowers, May Arts ribbon, Epiphany Crafts Round 25 tool and bubbles)
The  flowers were painted with Creative Inspirations Paints and then heat embossed with their clear powder; the cage was white painted and embossed with Creative Inspirations White embossing powder and I also added some green paint over those cream flowers to fit the chipboard ones.

You are invited to play with this sketch HERE - great chances to win some gorgeous chipboards-  both random and Top Pick on A2Z Scraplets
I also enter this to Creatalicious  challenge: love (in the title), punched border, flowers and blings
