GLAD TO BE BACK!!!!

I'm still here. Finally got a new computer ,however ,we still do not have high speed internet. Sooo, I'm still running a little slow. Trying to catch up with everyone, hopefully I will be able to visit everyone. I have truly missed visiting with all of you. Soooo much to catch up on. I have been going crazy not able to blog. Our precious son #1 sent us a new computer for Christmas. We were all sooo happy.( Do you see me doing the happy dance.? I just can't type fast enough to try and get everything I want to say.) Now I have to remember how to do the little that I had learned on how to manage this computer blogging thing. I just have to re-learn again.

SLOW COMPUTER AND UNWANTED GUEST

I'm still here. I have been having some computer problems. It has been moving verrrry slow or not at all. I think I need to get a new computer. I have so much more to post and I haven't been able to visit any of my friends blogs due to this slow moving and getting frozen on my computer board. It took me 30 min. just to be able to post this entry. arrrgh!
We are having to prepare for our unwanted guest, Mr. Hurricane Ike. I was able to get the needed items. We plan to ride this one out. Last time it took us forever to get to San Antonio. We do not want to get stuck in that long line on IH-10 out of here. It was a good thing that we went to the store in town this morning as on the way back home the DPS and other law inforcement personnel road blocked Hwy 36 into downtown Rosenberg . I hope we don't get very high winds, we have an enormous tree right out side our back porch, if it falls it will either be on top of our house or the garage. I still have lots of more work in the morning moving furniture and plants into the garage. Well, I will close for know, keep our state of Texas in prayer.

My Memory is Just Fine!

I have been working on the birthday card for Karla's Great Aunt Caroline who will be turning 100 yrs old. This is the first time I will be making a card and I'm so excited about trying this craft. I guess this will be my first practice as I will then be making the cards for the swap also hosted by Karla and Beth.

I'm just a slow learner at this time. I'm still battling with how to post on my sidebar (ex: the above pic, I wanted to add to my sidebar, don't know HOW, Uggh!) and how to post the pictures with writing underneath each picture instead of showing all the pictures at one time and then having the write up underneath. Soooo, if anyone can help me out, please contact me. I tried to post a picture and my computer said my memory was low. Now what is up with that! I am starting to get burned out again. My computer should not be complaining to me about his memory (noticed I said He cause surely its not a She, as we know all us women have great memories, Ok, I'll give HE some credit as He is the one posting my words.

I guess I'll have to sleep on this again, I do seem to accomplish more in the morning. Until tomorrow.
