Another apple study on a striped tea towel. I like the graphic element that stripes add to a composition. Check out all the powerful paintings entered in "The Stripe Challenge" posted by the fabulous Carol Marine over at Daily PaintWorks. I'll have to add this one to the mix.
And here's an update on the bidding for my last two paintings... "Mickey on a Mirror" auction ends tomorrow, June 18, and it's still only at $40 so, unless someone swoops in soon, the bidder will have it at a bargain price! "Apple with Green Stripes" still has a few days to go and it's still at $40 also.
