I know, I know... it's been a while! First I got really busy with some important non-art related obligations. Then yesterday my good intentions finally got me some time in the studio but nothing was working for me. I felt a little lost today and, although I have a lot of painting ideas, I couldn't settle on a direction. I was outside in the backyard playing with my dog and simply picked up a leaf so... here it is.
I tried using a much larger brush and simpler brush strokes in an effort to get something, anything, finished and posted onto my blog today. It had to be quick because daylight was fading and I needed to get a photo.
