Friday-Sketchers Nr 44

Ja, jullie zullen wel denken waar blijft ze nou met een nieuw kaartje. Sorry hoor!! Maar het is ook zo druk. Eerst een hele drukke beurs in Den Bosch waar bijna al mijn spullen zijn opgekocht, hihihi, en nu een drukke beurs voor de boeg in Dortmund (Duitsland). Vanaf dinsdag zal ik daar met Paula aanwezig zijn, 6 dagen lang. Dus de afgelopen weken en komende week stonden en staan vooral in het teken van nieuwe scrapkaartpakketjes maken, vele bestellingen plaatsen en rijden naar diverse groothandels. Maar mij hoor je niet klagen hoor!! Hier geen kredietcrisis, maar helaas wel minder tijd voor mijn blog. Van de week heb ik nieuwe stempels binnen gekregen van Bild Malarna, ze zijn geweldig. Ze zijn alleen nog te koop via de beurs, maar binnenkort ook in de winkel. Ik moest hier natuurlijk nog wel even een voorbeeldje van maken voor in Duitsland en heb deze gelijk gecombineerd met een challenge. De challenge van friday-sketchers. De sketch is door Beatrix gemaakt. Het papier wat ik gebruikt heb is van K&Company(Margo) Dit papier geeft een beetje een oude look aan het geheel dus heb ik mijn stempel met Distress Ink ingekleurd. Nou, dat is een verhaal apart. Ik heb dit voor het eerst gedaan (behalve dan die ene keer op een cursus,maar dat ging anders). Uiteindelijk is het resultaat wel leuk geworden maar het viel niet mee en nou weet ik niet of dit kwam omdat ik het verkeerde papier had om op te kleuren of omdat ik het gewoon (nog) niet kan. Het zal wel beide zijn, hihihi. Maar ja de aanhouder wint, blijven oefenen. Vandaag zijn de Copic Ciao Markers binnengekomen, dit wordt mijn volgende stress middag. Zo, dit verhaal wordt alweer veel te lang dus ik stop er maar mee voor vandaag, fijn weekend en misschien zie ik jullie wel in Duitsland. Onze tent staat in hal 7 standnummer 7124. Als je naar de Creativa komt, kom dan even gedag zeggen, dat vinden Paula en ik erg leuk. Groetjes,

I hear you think, "where was she all that time". I'm so sorry, but I'm very busy. First a busy Trade Show, where I sold out on a lot of products and now the preparation for the Creativa Fair in Dortmund, Germany. Next tuesday, Paula and myself, will be in Germany for 6 days. So the last couple of weeks and the week coming is mainly making packages for scrapcards, ordering and driving to our wholesale companies to get our stock on the right levels again. But I'm not complaining ! So there's a lot less time for my blog. New stamps arrived this week from BildMalarna, and they are great ! We are only selling them at the Trade Fairs and very soon through our internet shop. I had to make a card with it as example for the Creativa but combined it with a challenge, time saving, right. This one's for the Friday Sketchers Challenge. The sketch is made by Beatrice. The paper I used is from K&Company (Margo). The paper has a vintage look so I colored my stamp with Distress Ink. Well that's a different story. I did this for the first time (well except from that one time at a workshop but that was different). In the end I'm satisfied with the result, but it was hard. Maybe I had the wrong paper for coloring or I have to practice more. Maybe it's both, lol. But I will keep practicing. Today I received all the Copic Ciao Markers, so that means more practicing. Anyway, this story is becoming too long, so I'm gonna quit for today. Have a nice weekend and maybe I will see you in Germany. If you're coming to the Creativa come say hello on stand 7124 in hall 7. Goodbye 2008!!!

Bij Magnolia vs Stampavie is de laatste challenge van start gegaan, vandaar goodbye 2008. Ik had even geen zin in een kerstkaart, vandaar een happy birthday kaart. Het designpapier wat ik gebruikt heb is van k&Company(amy butler), deze serie is te koop bij Krea Teja in een paperkit. Ga maar gauw kijken want er zijn er nog maar een paar. Misschien een leuk kerstkadootje? De stempels zijn uiteraard van Magnolia en ze zijn ingekleurd met Derwent colorsoft potloden. Morgen ga ik met Paula weer brainstormen over een nieuw pakket of een nieuwe workshop, even kijken waarvoor we inspiratie krijgen. Bedankt voor langskomen en tot de volgende kaart. Groetjes THEA

At Magnolia vs Stampavie it's time for the last challenge, so it's goodbye 2008 already. I didn't feel like making another christmas card, so I made a happy birthday card. The designpaper is from K&Company (Amy Butler), the series is for sale in a paperkit at our webshop. Just take a look over there, because there are few left. Maybe a nice present for Christmas ? Ofcourse the stamp is from Magnolia and is coloured with the Derwent pencils. Tomorriw I'm going to brainstorm again with Paula about a new cardpackage or a new workshop, it depends on the inspiration we get. Thanks for stopping and see you real soon for a new card. Double Dutch - challenge 6

Na dat ik de wedstrijd van double dutch gewonnen had en de nieuwe sketch geweldig vond kon ik het niet laten om weer mee te doen. Dit is de blauwe serie van K&Company(amy butler) ook geweldig, alleen de kleur komt niet zo goed over, tenminste op mijn computer, de kleur blauw is veel zachter het gaat meer naar babyblauw toe. Jammer!!!! De stempel is van Wiff of Joy. De image is ingekleurd met derwent potloden. Groetjes THEA

After I've won the challenge from Double Dutch, and found a wonderful new sketch, I couln't resist to try it again. As promised, the blue series from K&Comany's Amy Butler. Also great, only I cant't get the colors better with scanning. The blue color is soft and tends to baby blue. On my computer it's too blue, pity ! The stamp is from Whiff of Joy. A Spoon Full of Sugar - challenge 27

Hoi, daar ben ik dan eindelijk weer. Na 4 dagen druk bezig geweest op de beurs heb ik weer even tijd voor een challenge. Ik vind de kaart weer erg leuk geworden. Deze challenge is van A Spoon Full of Sugar en de sketch is van MichelleO. Geweldige sketch Michelle. Ik heb voor deze kaart designpapier gebruikt van K&Company(amy butler), mooie serie, ik heb deze ook in het blauw waar ik gauw een kaart mee ga maken en natuurlijk op de blog zal plaatsen. 3x Morehead-kerst / 3 times Morehead Christmas

Voor deze drie kaarten heb ik 1 knipvel gebruikt. Voor kaart 1 is het designpapier van Karen-Marie Klip,een pons van Nellie Snellen en een Cuttlebug embos mal gebruikt.

For these three cards I used one decoupage paper. For the first card I used the designpaper from Karen Marie Klip, a punch from Nellie Snellen and a Cuttlebug embossing design.

Voor kaart 2 heb ik designpapier van IMAGINATIONS gebruikt. De ster is gemaakt met een mal van Marianne Design, en de kerstblaadjes komen van een pons van Nellie Snellen.

For the second card I used the design paper from Imaginations. The star is made with a stencil from Marianne Design, the christmas leaves are made with a punch from Nellie Snellen.

Het designpapier is van K&Company en Basic Grey. Veel kijkplezier en wie weet doe je nog wat inspiratie op. Bedankt voor het langskomen en o ja, vergeet niet te stemmen. Groetjes.

Magnolia challenge; Have a nice day

Je kan iemand voor verschillende momenten een fijne dag wensen, een verjaardag of bv een trouwdag enz. Ik heb hier een kaartje met vlinders gemaakt voor de challenge van Tilda & Co. (http://magnoliachallengeblog.blogspot.com/) Het is met designpapier gemaakt van K&Company (Butterfly Flat Paper). Het basiskarton is van Bazzill, en het grasje van Sizzix. De grote roze vlinder komt van een stickervel ook van K & Company en de kleine vlinders uit het designpapier. Ik heb in deze Magnolia stempel een neusje en een mondje getekend, is weer eens wat anders vind je ook niet?

You can wish someone a nice day on several occasions, a birthday, a wedding etc. I've made a card with butterflies for the challenge of Tilda & Co (http://magnoliachallengeblog.blogspot.com/). The paper is from K&Company (Butterfly Flat Paper). The cardstock is from Bazzill, the grass is made from a Sizzix design. The great pink butterfly is from a sticker die cut also from K&Company. The little butterflies are cut out of the designpaper. I draw a nose and mouth in the Magnolia stamp, it's different, right ?

Hi - My First ..... Card

Hi, hier mijn eerste kaartje op mijn blog. Na vele blogs bekeken te hebben, ben ik enthousiast geworden en wilde ik dit ook proberen hoewel ik totaal geen verstand heb van computers. Mijn site wordt namelijk gemaakt en onderhouden door mijn man Jan. Ik zal regelmatig een kaartje laten zien met stempels van Magnolia- sarah Kay-Suger Nellie enz. Maar ook kaarten met afbeeldingen van een 3d knipvel of een foto. Dit kaartje is gemaakt met magnolia stempels en ingekleurd met Derwent coloursoft potloden. Ik gebruik altijd bazill cardstock als basis. Op dit kaartje heb ik paper van K&Company (BRS Heart Vines Glitter Thermography) gebruikt. De bloemen komen uit een zakje met 'die cuts floral' ook van K&Company (artnr 50.080.001).

Hi, my first card on my own blog. After seeing so many wonderful blogs I became very enthousiatic and wanted it to try it for myself although my experiences with computers are zero. Our own site and webshop are maintained by my husband Jan. I will show regularly cards with stamps of Magnolia, Sarah Kay, Sugar Nelly etc. But also cards with 3D pictures or a photograph. This card is made with a Magnolia stamp and colored with The Derwent Coloursoft pencils. I always use cardstock from Bazzill. On this card I used the paper of K&Company (BRS Heart Vines Glitter Thermography). The flowers are the Die Cuts Floral from K&Company.
