Tufted Titmouse at feeder in backyard

Look how straight that top hat is on the Tufted Titmouse.
That is until he sees me, then he does his little trick of hiding it.

Two visitors to the deck

Not having too many visitors at my place this winter. Did capture these 2 a couple of weeks ago. Maybe I need to change the type of bird seed, or maybe they are active while I am at work.

Tufted Titmouse at Veterans Park

He posed for me, then he started playing hide and seek.
These were taken October 2. The same morning I photographed the Brown Headed Nuthatch. They were in the same group of trees.
I have not seen either since that morning. I keep going back to this spot, but no birds.

Tufted Titmouse

Another new one to the yard. He came when I started putting out the sunflower seeds for the Cardinals. We had these at our last house all the time, but it is the first one I have seen here. He is not showing his 'top hat' here, but I have clearly seen it. Notice the little orange spot on his flank.
