Review:
This is an amazing conclusion to this fabulous series.
There’s so much emotion and heart in this book, and the story and writing are
just beautiful. Shannon Dittemore always impresses me with her fluid and
sincere writing style. Dark Halo is
probably the darkest of the three books in this trilogy, but the reward at the
conclusion is worth every single twist, turn, and heartache.
Throughout the series, there have been so many
questions. So many loose ends and what seemed like segregated story lines
floated around in this mixture of supernatural experiences. Dark Halo finally pulls everything
together and so many questions are answered, and much like Brielle experiences,
there are surprises and even disappointments along the way.
This trilogy has truly been a journey for both the
characters and the reader. I don’t think you can read the Angel Eyes trilogy without feeling every struggle and a sense of satisfaction
at the end.
Although the story is dark and tragic at times, it’s
a clean read suitable for young adults and adults alike. Don’t miss this
fantastic conclusion to the Angel Eyes series
and if by chance you haven’t read books 1 and 2, you certainly do not want to
miss the engaging and powerful trilogy.
