iSpy Sketches-New Challenge!

Now back to my card, I have used a piece of black lace it the upper left hand corner, gemstones flourish, lace trim, and bakers twine.  I have used the Ribbon Reel inspiration photo for inspiration.  The sketch is from Monday Lunchtime Sketch challenge.  I am sorry for the photo, it is my MIL camera and I still have not figured out all the settings.  My camera has been repaired and is being shipped back to me, I hope it is back to "good as new" state.  I will be sharing the website if it is, it is a great deal especially if it is fixed.  Hope you have super day ....enjoy!

Happy Saturday evening to all of you, hope you are safe and sound if you are on the East Coast......the dh is chilin and I am getting in some stampin time.....yippie!  I have created this Christmas card using the JustRite set called Deck The Halls.  The yummy Christmas papers are from My Mind's Eye and Stampers Dream has them in stock, you will want to get them now...I have most of them and they are amazing...luv!  I have used a chipboard glittered snowflake from Melissa Frances and the burgundy ruffled ribbon from Websters Pages, both are items I have been holding onto.  More of a CAS card for me but I did add a few extras, you know I luv my details...hehehe.  Have a super evening....enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Our Friendship Is Priceless

Hello peeps once again...lol....this week and next there will be a ton of action here on my blog.  You will want to check back often so you do not miss anything  The Dirty Dozen Challenges, Lil' Inker Blog Hop, and Verve's HUGE Anniversary Release!  I have three posts for today, I hope you will browse and check them out.  This will be my last post for today, I am sharing a JustRite cling...I adore these clings.  I will be sharing more of these hopefully next week.  I have used the gorgeous Vintage Oval set for this one....these ovals are so pretty and they work with the Spellbinders Nesties Labels Thirteen.  I kept it rather simple and let the gorgeous shape and design of the oval make the statement.  I added ribbon and a glittered star.  I made these stars using Spellbinders Stars, added Crystal Effects, and then covered them with glitter.  Have a great day....enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Sweet Flowers

Hello friends, It is almost the weekend and I am so excited....I will be off for at least 2 weeks, maybe 3....I am hoping for 3...hehehehe.  The dh went back to the doctor and he will be in the neck brace four 4 more weeks, not exactly what we where expecting but you cannot be to careful with your neck.  I thank you so much for the prayers and well wishes, they mean so much to us both!
For my card tonight I am using the JustRite set Elegant Charms, I adore these flowers, they have so much personality, don't ya think?  I stamped them in Tim Holtz Black Soot ink and then cut them out and added stickles.   The die cut leaves are from the Spellbinders Rose Creations.  I embossed them and the folded them for more texture.  The sentiment is from the Spellbinders set Because I Care I cut it out using the Spellbinders Nested Custom Sentiment Dies.  I finished my card with stitching, and distressing.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend planned with family and friends....enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Vintage Birthday

Hello friends, I am sharing a card I made using JustRite stamps, I adore these images and the best part they are compatible with Spellbinders.  I have used the set Elegant Frames and the Spellbinders Nesties Labels Ten to cut out the shape.  I have used glass glitter on the main image, well....because I luv it....hehehehe.  I added ribbon, Melissa Frances Lace Trim, button and burlap to finish my card.  I adore the sketch and I played along with Paper Play and used ribbon, lace, and a button.  It is almost the weekend and I can't wait.....I am going to be busy in the next several weeks.  I have several things to share with you that are super exciting, I can't wait to spill the beans!  I have lots of things I want to see and do in my life, I must believe those things will happen.....enjoy!  I want to share this awesome quote with you  by Oswald Chambers......"Faith is deliberate confidence in the character of God whose ways you may not understand at the time."

Stampers Dream-Christmas Wishes Tag

Hello everyone, it has been a gorgeous day here in VA....about 80 degrees and sunny....perfect!  I have made a sweet Christmas tag using the Friday MashUP sketch and colors.  I used the JustRite set called Warmest Wishes, this set is adorable and has several cute stocking and mitten images...I adore mittens and stockings!  I colored the main image with copics and added Stickles to the stocking top part to make it appear furry.  The sentiment is from the JustRite set Deck The Halls.  I gathered ribbon and stitched over it, then added bakers twine.  You know it is not to early to start those Christmas creations.  I hope your day has been great....enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Spread Your Wings

Happy day friends, I have had one busy week...sometimes I wonder if having a week off doesn't make it a little harder the following week....sigh.  Still nursing my dh back to good health too, he is doing well.  The concussion has some side effects...praying those will completely go away!  Thanks once again for all the well wishes and prayers...{{{hugs}}}.  I am sharing a card today using the JustRite set Spread Your Wings(sorry, it is sold at the moment) I adore these bird cages, so sweet.  I cut out the bird cage image using the Spellbinders Nesties Labels Twenty.  I used the sentiment stamp spread your wings and fly and have die cut it using the Spellbinders Charm Dies to make the sentiment tag.  I added stitching, crinkled ribbon, and a buton with burlap string.   I hope you have a wonderful evening....enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Believe

Hello peeps, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.....it was gorgeous here except for yesterday evening we had rain...no fireworks....bummer.  I am sharing a Christmas card with you today, I know it is only July but I am very anxious to see all the new goodies that will be coming out this holiday season.  I have used one of the JustRite Christmas ornament sets...there are two of them...I luv them both!  This one is the Deck The Halls set, they pair perfectly with the Spellbinders Heirloom Ornament Dies(the 2011 dies are not out yet).  I hand cut mine but the dies will make it so easy and give that perfect edge...I can't wait to get mine!  I used my beloved glass glitter to embellish the top part of my card, almost like snow.  You will want to have the glitter handy for those Christmas cards this year.  The papers I used are designer paper from last year from My Mind's Eye it is called I Believe.  I used lace trim, bakers twin, and cute little jingle bells to complete my card.  Have a wonderful day and you know it's not to early to start preparing for Christmas......enjoy!

JustRite-Life Is Better With Friends

 Good morning friends, I am able to be home with my dh while he is recovering ...thank you all very much again for the prayers and well wishes!  I have created a simple card, but quite striking using those amazing Websters Pages Bloomers....these are so gorgeous!  I covered the adorable butterfly with glass glitter(luv), and a button with bakers twine.  I used the Spread Your Wings JustRite Cling set, I only used the sentiment today but I am anxious to use the bird cage images...it is so vintage and fun!  I have used the Spellbinder Ribbon Banners to showcase the sentiment, I luv these banners!  I added a little zig zag stitching and a small amount of distressing.  When I think of friendship, it reminds of this quote...."The greatest treasures are those invisible to the eye but found by the heart."  I have also added some new cards to my Etsy shop, Paperie Blooms, be sure to check them out.  Have a super amazing day.....enjoy!

Stampers Dream and Freinds Blog Hop June 2011

Welcome to the Stamper's Dream & Friends Blog Hop! I'm super excited about all the very special friends that are hopping with us today.  Michelle has asked some very special gals to join the dream team today to share there fabulous talent...thanks for joining us!  I have used my new favorite Christmas stamps....this set is from JustRite, it is called Merry & Bright ...wow...I adore the fact that you can pair it with the Spellbinders Heirloom Ornaments Nesties.  I stamped both ornaments and put the sentiment inside the larger one.  The smaller ornament has a place for a sentiment but I stitched inside of that one so that I could pair them together with only one sentiment.  I stamped them and heat embossed them(using Judikins embossing powder) onto BasicGrey designer paper.  The sweet trim under the ribbon is a fun find that I found the other day with my dh, we go on scavenger hunts from time to time looking for whatever catches our eye....this caught mine....hehehehe.

Stampers Dream-Sympathy Card

I have played along with a couple of challenge today, a new one fro me called The Ribbon Reel....if you are looking for a great sketch give this one a try.  I have used JustRite Stamps, I am still working on the large custom order; that is the reason for all of the sympathy cards.  I have a gal that orders tons of sympathy cards from me to always have one on hand.  This JR set is the best sympathy set I have seen, so many caring sentiments...it is called Sympathy Nested Sentiments and it is on sale.  I have used the fabulous Spellbinders Nesties Labels Twenty shapes to showcase the sentiment.  I want to let you in on a little secret, I did not think I  needed all of these shapes, but I do and YOU do too.....*grin*.....pick your up today!  These gorgeous shapes really add to your completed card, really they do.  The Spellbinders are wonderful paired with the JR sets, be sure to pick yours up today!  I added a felt butterfly that has been cut with My Favorite Things Die, so sweet paired together.  I embossed onto the gorgeous designer paper by Melissa Frances called Vintage Attic and yes it looks like it came from you Grandmothers attic...I luv that!  I hope your hump day is a good one....I am still home enjoying my time away from work......make the most of today...enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Happy Birthday

Hello peeps, it is Thursday and I do not have to be back to work for another 10 days....woohooo...I am soooo excited!  Also, Gary and I celebrate our 5th wedding Anniversary tomorrow, another very happy moment!  We had a wonderful weekend last weekend, we rode 520 miles on the motorcycle...it was gorgeous....a super fun time!  If you are wondering what is going on with my blog...I have changed the name and will be changing the look as well.  If you have my blog linked be sure to change the link to the new one....I wouldn't want you to miss anything!  Now for tonight's card, I am sharing a card with you using one of my favorite JustRite sets; Family Garden.  I am luvin the new cling mounted JustRite sets......check out all the great sets at Stampers Dream.  I paper pieced the flowers and added the gorgeous glass glitter and a orange gemstone to the center.  I cut the sentiment in a tag and added a button ted with Burlap String.  Distressed the edges and a little stitching complete my card.  I hope your day great.......find time to make someones day...enjoy!

Stampers Dream-Deepest Sympathy

Stampers Dream-On Your Birthday

Hello, I have created a very detailed card today, using all sorts of fabulous goodies from Stampers Dream.  If you have not been to SD, check it out.....Michelle has lots of new things coming in....they are must haves too....hehehehe.  I have used  JustRite sets to create this card, Just Because Mini Sentiments and Because I Care.  JustRite has wonderful stamp sets that coordinate with Spellbinders nesties, this set goes with the Fancy Tags 2.  I have used Melissa Frances trim, crinkled ribbon, a crocheted flower, glittered star, and Websters Pages hair pin...so sweet, and Websters Pages Netting, this is fun stuff too!  Lots to look at on this one, the wonderful soft papers is by Melissa Frances and it is called 5th Avenue....luv this paper pack!  I hope you like my card, I appreciate each and every one who visits and comments...thanks so much!  Your sweet thoughts mean so much to me....hope your evening is fabby......it is hump day you know...heheheh, two more days before the weekend!  ENJOY.

Stampers Dream-Forever Friends

Hello friends, I have been trying to share this card since Wednesday, blogger as you know as had some issues this week.  All in all blogger is great and it is free so I am not going to complain.  At last, I am sharing a card using a Melissa Frances vintage photo and the sweet sentiment is JustRite Friendship Blooms set.  A perfect card for a bff or sister, don't ya think?  I adore the JustRite sets that coordinate with Spellbinders, check them out!  I used the Floral Doily Motifs from Spellbinders for the background doily shape.  The lace is also Melissa Frances and the burlap string is by May Arts.  The designer paper is by Websters Pages, it is called Trendsetter.  I completed my card with stitching and distressing.  Make the most of your time this weekend, the weekends go by so quickly.  Squeeze in a little creating time and take a moment to soak up the gorgeous sunshine....enjoy!
