Last 2 Pages in My Sketbook Project Journal

Today I am going to show you the last two pages of my Sketcbook Project journal!!!

This last page was started in class when we were suppose to design a flag to represent our culture...but after I drew the TX flag and the paintbrush my teacher came over and said not to do it in my journal but to make it on a separate piece of paper.  So, then I added the circle stickers and the froggie - it now shows three of my favorite things: painting, Texas and Frogs!

Sketchbook Project Pages

Today I am going to share some of the art journal pages I have made in my Sketchbook Project journal. I made these while doing art with my mom on January 1st.
I love that little gecko with the bow tie!
This pink one is actually two spreads.. here is one:
And turn the half page and it ends up looking like this:

I like how it turned out!  Come back tomorrow for some more pages!!

Camp Boggy Creek pt. 2

I spent another weekend at Camp Boggy Creek.  This past weekend was the annual holiday party!!  It was a lot of hard work but tons of fun.  I was at the table where the kids could make wallets out of used Newman's Own juice cartons.  Here are some photos:

Cutting the circles in the exact right spot without making them too big or too small is the hard part.

While waiting on a meeting I made this drawing:

Turn the page and it looks like this:

After the party we cleaned up and then later that evening we had a party for all the volunteers and we did a white elephant gift exchange.  I brought this gift:

A handmade (by me) journal, gel pens, chocolate santa, and three fun Christmas themed toys!

Here is the gift I got:

I "stole" it because there was 82 players and I was 76!  I wanted it because of the iTunes gift card ($25) and two lotto tickets.  I had no idea there was that much candy in there!  YIKES.  Needless to say I have already started working my way through that MilkyWay bag : )

Web Imagery

I read a lot of blogs, one of them is Journal Fodder Junkies!  A little while back, Eric posted on their blog about the web imagery (link to youtube video!) that he has been making.  He asked for a collaboration and I decided to make one and send it to him!!  So, here is the one I made and sent:

And then I got addicted to it and made some more:

So far they are all in my Sketchbook Project art journal.  I need to finish it and mail it by the 14th of January - that is going to be a push!

If you do a web image please let me know so I can take a look!

AEDM Nov 29th!

** This post is out of order because I did not mean to publish it but it happened and I cannot undo it.  So, enjoy and extra post today and please forgive it being out of order! **

Almost done with showing you my AEDM creations!  I finished my last spread of the Friendship Journal swap!  Its hard to read because of how the light reflected but ti says "doing what you like is freedom, liking what you do is happiness."

I also did my first spread in my sketchbook project journal:
I have until Jan 15th to get this journal done - hopefully I can make it!!  Wish me luck.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great day!
