SALAMANCA

Al visitar Salamanca es imposible no empaparse de su espíritu universitario.

La juventud es un atardecer, brillante, único, efímero.

Que la vida iba en serio

uno lo empieza a comprender más tarde

-como todos los jóvenes, yo vine

a llevarme la vida por delante.

Dejar huella quería

y marcharme entre aplausos

-envejecer, morir, eran tan sólo

las dimensiones del teatro.

Pero ha pasado el tiempo

y la verdad desagradable asoma:

envejecer, morir,

es el único argumento de la obra.

We spent some days in Amsterdam.
The canals, the trees, the cosmopolitan spirit, the light and the clouds, the people, the bikes, its cobblestones, the large windows.
Amsterdam is always a place to return to.

Pasamos unos días en Amsterdam.
Los canales, los árboles, su espíritu cosmopolita, la luz y las nubes, la gente, las bicis, su suelo adoquinado, las grandes ventanas.
Amsterdam es siempre un lugar al que volver.

VISITING VALENCIA

We have some work to do in Valencia so we took the opportunity to visit it.
Even more beautiful than I remembered.
It was a pleasure to see you.

DELICIOUS LONDON

While in London we tasted some restaurants. This is always a good experience that reminds in our memory. Smells and tastes stay with us. Here just some of them.

I don't remember all places, but if you are in Notting Hill, just try Granger & Co. This is a good one. And of course you have to have a break at the Tate when you are visiting the exhibitions!!

London is always a good idea.

Cuando estuvimos en Londres probamos algunos restaurantes y cafés. Esta es siempre una buena experiencia que permanece en tu memoria. Los olores y los sabores permanecen con nosotros. Aquí están algunos de ellos.

No recuerdo todos los lugares, pero si estáis en Notting Hill, probad Granger & Co. Está muy bien.

Y por supuesto tenéis que aprovechar un descanso en la Tate cuando visitéis las exposiciones.

Londres es siempre una buena idea.

LONDON

We have just spent a few days in London which is always very inspiring. We enjoyed walking around the different neighborhoods (Soho, Brick Lane, Notting Hill, Mayfair...), visiting exhibitions (Harry Callahan at the Tate Modern, Taylor Wessing Photographic Prize at the National Portrait Gallery, Warhol, David Lynch and William S. Borroughs at The Photographers gallery) and discovering little restaurants in town.

Acabamos de pasar unos días en Londres, lo que es siempre muy inspirador. Disfrutamos paseando por los diferentes barrios (Soho, Brick Lane, Notting Hill, Mayfair...), visitando exposiciones (Harry Callahan en la Tate Modern, Taylor Wessing Photographic Prize en el National Portrait Gallery, Warhol, David Lynch y William S. Borroughs en The Photographers gallery) y descubriendo pequeños restaurantes en la ciudad.
