Easter 2013

We had a wonderful Easter this year! The weather was beautiful, which never happens in Washington on Easter weekend. The kids colored lots of eggs and did most of the work all by themselves and only spilled one cup over. Good thing it was the purple and it only got on Bella's purple pants. Next it was outside for a family egg hunt. The kids had so much fun with the egg hunt that we did it a few more times and then the kids took a turn hiding all the eggs and Reuben and I had to find them. On Sunday I only got pictures with Isaac, Bella and I. Reuben was off at church meetings all day and Ava was asleep.

October and Halloween

I know this is late and the wrong season, but better late then never! October was a whirl wind. It seems like it was so long ago. Yet that is what happens when you have a busy life with busy children who change and grow so fast. The kids and I had lots of fun decorating the house with paper bats, spooky ghosts and creepy spiders for Halloween. We carved pumpkins and the kids loved it. It was fun to see them decide what they wanted their pumpkins to look like. Bella's was a cat, Isaac chose a creepy face and Reuben did the Grim Reaper. They all turned out wonderful to bad some punk kids smashed them the next day and we didn't even get to enjoy them for Halloween! Oh well we had fun making them. The kids costumes were perfect. Isaac was a Ninja Turtle, Bella was Spider Girl and Ave was my sweet flower. The kids and I trick-o-treated the entire neighborhood and collected way too much candy! It was great. I love seeing my kids enjoy the holidays.  

Life is good

Some days I like to pout and moan about all the things I have to put up with as a mom of 3 kids, as a wife of a Lawyer who works too much and on and on. Then their are those moments when I realize Life is Good! I have 3 beautiful children who are smarts, funny, sweet, and just plain crazy. I have a wonderful husband who works so hard at work and church and then comes home and puts up with me and the crazyness of home. I have so much to be thankful for. Here are just a few of them.

Ava Turns 1!

I still can not believe my baby girl is already one years old. How did this happen so fast? She seems to be growing up so much faster then Isaac or Bella ever did. She is walking like a pro and can now keep up with me and the kids around the house. I have a permanent shadow wherever I go now. She is also talking a ton! Here are some of the words she can say. Isaac, Night night, Bye, Hi, DA DA, Drink, and Please. She loves to be silly and tickled and dance. She eats a ton and so far will eat everything I give her except Baked Beans? She has the brightest personality just like her neon white hair, and loves her family. I don't think she realizes she is the baby because she wants to do and be with Isaac and Bella wherever they go. If it outside, she goes outside with them. If the big kids are up in the toy room she marches right up to the toy room to be with them. She had brought so much joy and happiness to our family in a every short year. I cant wait to see what kind of fun we will have next year.

New School Year

 

Isaac and Bella started school about a month and a half ago, and they are loving it! Isaac is in First Grade! (How did he grow up so fast) His teacher is Mrs.Viray and Isaac loves her. Isaac has always loved to learn and is a very good student. He continually suprises me on how much he has grown and learned in school! Especially when I listen to him read and watch him do his homework. Bella is doing preschool again this year with Miss Amy. She has so many of her girl friends in her class I dont know how Miss Amy gets them to stop talking so she can teach them anything. Bella is also growing up way to fast. Her writting is improving everyday and she is becoming such a good big sister to Ava.

 

 

 

Summer Adventures

Our summer is coming to an end so I decided to do a quick recap of our summer adventures. First a trip to Idaho for the 4th of July. Lots of swimming lessons. Lots of Birthday fun. Camping at the cabin, and trips to the beach. Playing outside in the sun. Camping on the Oregon Cost with friends. Soccer Camp and many more fun adventures. Our summer has been full of fun, but we are also excited for a new year of school to start!  

Long time no Blog

We are still alive for those of you wondering what has happened to us. I have lost all desire to blog and other things have filled up my time (like my cute chubby baby)! Here is my list of things that has happend in the last 3 months that I hope to blog about so I can get all caught up.

Ava 5 Months

Ava is oficially 5 months old today! She has brought so much joy into our family. The kids love her and are so great to her. They play with her bring her toys and make her laugh all the time. She is such a happy little girl who loves to smile and play. She is so strong right now and can practically sit up by herself. She just needs more balance. She loves to bounce and jump in your arms. If you dont hold on tight she will jump right out of your arms. I love her smile and she has the cutest laugh. She is also very ticklish.

Valentines Day

We had a great V-Day. I learn how to do Bella's hair in a heart shape. The kids and I made cupcakes to take to school and friends. We had the best heat shaped cherry brownie ever! And we had really good Chines food for dinner. I guess V-Day was all about the food this year.
