Can't get enough...Anthropolgie Clearance

About a month or two ago, I ordered the cutest little tablecloth from Anthropologie (online). I waited with excitment as I knew it would be here the next Tuesday. Well Tuesday passed and so did Wednesday and Thursday. I went back to check up on my online order and what do yanno- they canceled it on me. I received a short little apology email stating that they no longer had them in stock. ("Then take it off your site!" I thought) I was not a happy camper. I had waited and waited for it to go on clearance, taking a big chance that it might never be marked down. But then...It was marked down to $49.95! from around $78. So you can imagine when they accepted and then canceled my order, I was not thrilled with Anthropologie for quite a few weeks.
And then... (drum roll please) I FOUND IT! While visiting a friend in San Fransisco I found one, tucked way back in the farthest corner of the store tucked away in a basket of clearance items. It was destiny. We were meant to be together. Okay sorry, a little too dramatic?
She came home to live in my kitchen with all my mismatched mess of chairs.

Last weekend while in Orange County visiting an ol' college roommate I found these bad boys...
I have been trying to find some really cute teacups at thrift and antique stores, but everything has been the same china pink flowers and bla. I grabbed 'em up and headed straight to the register.

They are on their website right now. Click here to be directed.

They inspire me to drink more tea instead of coffee.

They're too pretty to hide away in a cabinet. When I'm not using them they are out for all to see in my dining room.

July 09...Anthropologie Catalog

Every time I get a new anthropologie catalog in the mail, I do a little (Yipppyyyyy!!!) dance. I wait for the perfect time and get all comfy to flip through it. Yes, there's a strategy to get the most enjoyment out of a catalog. I don't even look at prices anymore, too depressing. =) But it is GREAT inspiration. I thought I should share with you some of the joy I get when I flip through the pages. Here are some of my favorite layouts...

I LOVE the tea set in this picture. The white and blue china looks awesome with the pink roses on the tea cup.
And isn't that a unique slipcover for a couch? ;)

I've yet to meet an anthropologie curtain that I didn't like.

The shoe light fixture... so creative. Realized, this could be awesome in a great walk-in closet. =)

I bet in heaven, it rains shoes like this...

And there it is folks, my favorite catalog ever! Its such an exciting time to get a new catalog in the mail. Its like you get to peek into other peoples houses and closets. I also love getting pottery barn's and west elm's. What are some of YOUR favorite catalogs that you just can't wait to flip through?

The Happiest Place on Earth

No, it's not Disneyland.

ANTHROPOLOGIE

I LOVE this couch, classic and comfortable.

My idea of heaven is an unlimited amount on an Anthropologie gift card. Can I just move into an Anthro store? They mix modern and vintage with the best of ease. I think the thing I love the most (if its possible just to pick ONE) is all of the wonderful fabrics and colors they use. It is by far my favorite store and makes me Oh So Happy! The textures and colors can turn anyone from a bad mood to a comfortable happy mood. One lazy saturday a few months back, my loving husband surprised me with a window shopping road trip (our nearest anthro is 2 hrs away in Fresno, Calif.) It was a greay day, and he even pretended to enjoy every little detail that I ohhhed and awwwwed over. I shot lots of pics with my iphone to keep the inspiration coming for months to come.
