~Inspirational French Vignette~

I'm always looking for inspiration from the garden!
These beautiful hyacinth flowers created this vignette with
some French hand-stamped candles I made.
Looking at this past decade, my proudest accomplishments have been starting the Rooted In Thyme blog, our small business, and having my French hand stamped switch plate covers featured in
 Romantic Homes magazine.
It has been a wonderful adventure.
It inspired my creativity in and out of the garden.
Reflecting back my husband, Stan and I sold at multiple craft fairs. One of our favorites is Summers Past Farms in Flinn Springs.

I have been working on different things to refresh my Etsy for 2020
and these are a few of them.

~Classic Dahlias and Simple & Sweet Fridays #178~

I wanted to share with you photos of some of our dahlias in bloom.
I thought I'd set the table outside with things that I love on it.
Silver trays, vintage china, candles, sweet treats and champagne!
I love my chandeliers!!

My French tablecloth set the romantic mood.
A white porcelain teapot shows off the pretty pink petals!
Lemon wafers on a antique silver tray.
To celebrate our first blooms,
Champagne!!
A silverware napkin holder I found at a boutique store.
A girls got to have a little sweet treat!
I couldn't resist this beautiful bouquet of stock.
A wonderful purchase at Trader Joe's.

It's always a celebration when our
Dahlias are in bloom!!

~Christmas Mason Jar Candles & kgabara necklaces and Simple & Sweet Fridays #145~

I've been wanting to make some mason jar candles after seeing them on Pinterest and other blogs.
I used some mason jars, pine cones with glitter, jute,
 candles and rock salt.
A Christmas project that takes little time,
but looks so pretty when lit.
Simple red roses next to the candle is another elegant look.
I cut some ribbon and added a bell onto jars
 in the entryway.
Glittered pinecones and fresh greenery placed around the candles.
When you walk into the house a winter scene greets you.

Before we get to last weeks features, I wanted to share with you a few of my daughter Katie's unique stained glass necklace designs.
