I Keep On Falling

I found another card that intimidates me! Accidents!
How do you express you care without being too cute or too insensitive?
This is for my friend Sarah, who was in a car accident not too long ago.
Although she did not have to go to the hospital, her car is totaled
and she is still in a tremendous amount of pain.  The images I had were a
little too cutsey for the look I was going for.  I was trying to
find something that would be perfect for her.  Her last home
was decorated in lots of reds and Toile, so I thought the paper
was perfect.  Then I saw this image I had downloaded
awhile ago from TLC and thought that they complimented
one another nicely.  I just did not want her to think I was
minimizing her accident or the pain that she is in.

I put Diamond Glaze on the shoes and
paper pieced the dress

Thank You Yenni! You are the sweetest!

To accept this award I have to do a few things:
A.Please link back to the one who gave you this award and say thanks
I'll say it again, Thank You Yenni!

B. Write 3 sweet moments happened in your life
#1 I found this kitten that I was all set to bring home, but was waiting
for my husband to come get me.  When he arrived he said "Is this the
cat you want?" I replied "Yes, this is the one!"  He then said "No!"
I was crushed and walked so fast he could not catch up to me.
Then when we got to the car, there sat a kitten that he had looked
for all day to surprise me!!! Awwww!!  He was quickly forgiven!

#2 On Our 15th Wedding Anniversary we gave each other
15 gifts.  Most of them small gifts.  He had mine all wrapped
and pretty with little bows on them! (He even wrapped them himself)

#3 I mentioned on someone's blog ( I won't mention Yenni's name... lol!)
that I loved her lace, and she sent me a wonderful package of gorgeous lace!
Thank You Yenni, You truly are the sweetest! You definitely deserve this award!

Thinking Of You

I made this card for a friend that lost her dog of 15 years
around the same time I lost my Cody Cat.  I understand
her pain and wanted her to know I have been thinking
about her.  Even though it been a couple of months,
when they have been a part of your life that long, it still hurts.
I also made this card for the
Verve Sketches for the month of February.
This is the first sketch.  I did them out of order because
I had a serious mental block with this one.  It is a great
sketch, but I could not get it to work.   So I tried
another idea, and could not get it to work either, so I went
back to this and wola! It worked.! I think it was the pressure
of having to finish it.  I seem to work well under pressure!

The medallion is a Martha Stewart tag with a punch out
of the paper.  This paper pack is cool because it
came with lots of matching paper, stickers, tags, letters,
& chipboard! It will be awesome to scrapbook with.
