Happy Dance!

I finished Croakworth! It's designed by Ink Circles and yes, I went with my own color scheme. I used plain old Dmc Variations. I like to use them whenever I can in a project rather than spend a ton on other overdyed flosses. Sometimes they just can't do the job but most of the time, they turn out beautifully. I almost have the perfect frame for this one. It's the right color but it's a little too big. Don't you hate that?

My Latest Updates

Last week was pretty hectic and crazy so I was lucky to get anything stitched at all! In between laundry and other chores, I managed to do a little.

Here's my latest update of BoInk. Next weekend I'll probably do the outline for the knot on the other side and hopefully fill both sides in with the green. Wow, that sounds like a lofty goal! Well, I'm going to try.

This is Croakworth. I really love this piece. I never realized that quaker type design were so much fun.

It's Time For Another Weekend Update

Here is my BoInk. I am really happy with the progress I have made on this.

This is my current work on Bug Collector.

And here is my progress of Croakworth. It's not much but here it is. I have been using most of my time cleaning a room to get it ready to paint.

A Few New Starts!

This is "Life Is Good" from Tailwaggers #1 by Jeanette Crews Designs. Right now it looks a little spooky but when it's done, it will be a Basset. The fabric is Smokey Haze Flair by Enchanted Fabrics.

This is Croakworth by Ink Circles. I'm using DMC Variations #'s 4215, 4045, and 4140. The flies/dragonflies were supposed to be stitched in the same thread as the frogs but I thought they looked more like dragonflies when stitched in the purple-ish thread. The fabric is "Tea" Monaco.
