DRS Designs Day

Hi all... im still feeling under the weather here. Thank goodness for laptops so I can get some things done. At least im well enough today to do this. Thanks to my dear Kim for posting the winners yesterday.

Today is my day on the DRS Designs blog, can you please go peak and leave some love. And be sure to have a peak around the DRS Designs website and blog to see all the inspiration and new stamps. The beginning of the holidays

I just love the holidays, im so looking forward to them. I love the smells, colors, warmth and closeness of family during the holidays. My favorite time of year is the Fall. I love Halloween and Thanksgiving. I thought I would share some cards I did with the upcoming holidays in mind. Never too early to get started on your holiday cards.

Heres a card I designed for DRS Designs. Here I used the 4 in 1 snowflakes stamp paired up with the Christmas Greeting. I embossed the snowflakes in white on kraft cardstock. Stamped the sentiment with Hero Hues and finished it off with ribbon from Papertrey Ink.

I also got my new stamps in from Two Peas, I was so happy to see the mail lady. I love getting goodies in the mail. Im sure you do too, its thrilling except when I get my cc bill. LOL. I just love these stamps from Hero Arts and this color card stock from Papertrey Ink paired together.

For my card today, I have used 2 of the new release stamps: Bells and Bows and Jingle all the Way.

I ran some tape down the cardstock and looped the ribbon, then added the rhinestones to the top. And I colored the Bells and Bows with Copics and added silver Stickles to the bells.

Im also sharing a second card showcasing some new release stamps!

Here I used Wintertime Buddies and Christmas Music Bg. I made the card into Santas suit. This card is a little hard to see, the red really went bright with the flash.

Super Exciting News to Share!

HAPPY FRIDAY!! TGIF!! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!






I have a wonderful announcement to make, I will be on the Design Team for Your Next Stamp starting in September. Im so thrilled and excited to work with YNS and im glad I can finally get it out lol. Im so excited to be working with Karen, Semsee and the team. Its going to be such great fun! I would also like to share that I am also on the Design Team for my dear friend, and crafty bff Kim's DT over at her site, Off the Wall Craftiness. Im so THRILLED!!! I love her so much and her sweet baby girl. As some of you know, we get together in real life too. We found out awhile back we live close to each other, and we have LOTS in common. So im thrilled to be on her team and shes also on mine. Her baby girl is having a birthday soon and I cant wait to go, Happy Birthday sweetie! Shes soooooo adorable! Now onto a card... I did this card because I was in the mood for butterflies and the challenge theme this week is butterflies. You have until 11:59pm TONIGHT to get your entry in! You know you want to make a butterfly card or project... they are so pretty!!!!!

Happy Thursday! Hope you have a wonderful day! Thank you to everyone who sent me cards, emails and everything for my birthday. It was an awesome day besides the fact of getting older lol.

Tomorrow will be a hard day... especially for Jason, he was so close to his Dad. So please forgive me this week if I dont make it around to comment on all your lovely creations. Im trying but I have so much to do before tomorrow and before our trip. I will miss everyone for the four days we will be gone, Sat - Tues. The challenge will be posted on Saturday as usual. And I will be trying to check around on my phone, love the convenience of it.

Also I sent up the wrong shipping cost profile on my Etsy shop, so I have fixed that now. LOL. Too much going on, yikes.

Christmas in July

Happy Hump Day! :) Its mid week thank goodness the weekend will be here soon. I cant wait to go on my birthday trip, im counting the days but I will miss my craft room so much LOL.

Frogs, Grads, and a Butterfly Oh My!

Heres a cute frog stamp from DRS Designs, hes toadally cool wishing you a wonderful day!! Click on the links under the recipe to see the stamps online. For the ribbon treatment, I ran some tape across the cardstock then just looped the ribbon side to side all the way across to the end to give it this look.

DRS Designs news

Hi everyone. Finally getting around to get caught up on stuff for my DT's and other projects im working on. Heres a little card I would like to share with you from the new line of DRS Designs stamps. Hope you had a chance to check them out, if not go HERE. You can get them in 3 styles, Mounted, Cling mounted or Unmounted. If you get Unmounted you can use a product DRS Designs sells called EZ MOUNT. Its great.

Here I did a modified version of the sketch so I could incorporate the Cat Paw background from DRS.

With Heartfelt Condolences - DRS Designs

Happy Saturday!! Hope you are enjoying the start to your weekend!! We had a lovely day yesterday, sad but lovely as we have come to terms with the loss of my FIL. His condition has deteriorated as we expected and he will pass soon. We appreciate all your prayers during this difficult time. But we tried to make the best of our trip to see him and went and drove around LA and then had a lovely dinner at Buca di Beppo Italian restaurant, if you have never ate at one... omgoodness you dont know what your missing. And we highly recommend the Tiramisu... YUMMMMY! It was just a nice and peaceful family day ... it was lovely to see my FIL and get to hug him and tell him how much we love him.


With that said I would love to share with you a card I made, it was hard to make this card but I think it came out lovely. I made it then I thought it just needed something else. Tell me which version you like.

Poor little frogs ... lol

TGIF!! Im so glad its Friday! Woohoo!! I love Fridays as most of us do. Today I would like to share with you this cute little stamp and sentiment. I had my 3 yr old nephew over today to visit and this reminds me so much of him, always something in his pockets LOL! Those of you that have boys im sure you can relate. My picture didnt come out the greatest but its night so my lighting is always worse at night. I will try to get a better picture later when the suns up.

And he LOVED all the cards, thank you to everyone who sent one!!

Hope you all had a great weekend. My darling came home yesterday so I was barely even on here at all yesterday and today. We went to see Shrek - Happily Ever After. It was so funny and cute, we loved it. We needed a good laugh.
