Sarah Tolmie’s new near future sci-fi novel Arboretum will be out in spring 2027 with Aqueduct Press! What NoFood did for body modification, this book does for de-extinction. Favilla Thaler visits the Arboretum, a theme park of genetically reconstructed hominins and prehistoric people run by the Minor Corporation. She learns its horrible secrets, guided by an AI drone named Jarley, and when she gets home to her elite Monopolist enclave, she realizes she has to make a change.
