Sparkly Floral ATC.

Good afternoon!!  I'm off to the movies with my husband! We don't get to go out too much on dates so it is alway so nice when we can! A nice lunch and a movie! I can't ask for anything more :)  I always LOVE spending time with my husband! This weekend we will be at home for a full weekend of racing.. motorcycles and Bathurst 1000. So, there will be no going out this weekend! After this past weekend though... I'm looking forward to a weekend at home!

For this one I have used a freebie from A Day For Daisies. I've used a lot of different colors of glitter keeping with the purple and pink colors with a touch of gold. I used a stencil on the background with some texture and then sprayed with different mists. The hearts were colored with my copic markers. Glitter and paint... a true mixed media creation! :D  I had fun with it.

Full Moon.

Good morning everyone! I have been so busy at work and just can't wait to get home so I can color LOL I have a couple of Guest Designer spots coming up, so I have been working on those items. This is Halloween Mouse On A Broom from Gerda Steiner. I created the sky background and the moon and popped this adorable little witchy mouse on top of the moon. I colored the image with Copic Markers and only popped the arm, foot and robe on this side of the broom. I added some wink of Stella gold to the stars and buckle and clear to the robe.

Halloween Dragon ATC*

Good evening everyone! I was able to get a bit done this morning.. Then I took Bailey to her Lacrosse game. She was goalie for the second half of the game. At the half it was them 4 and the other team 2. The game ended at them 7 and the other team 2. Bailey did not let them score on her! She did great :)  She is rusty in places and she is ready to get back to work, but she did well! When we got home, Michael rang so I went and picked him up and took him to the Urgent Care. The doctor cut away the ingrown toenail and I went and picked up some antibiotics for him. When we came home I told him to go soak in the bathtub in the hottest water he could stand. I've given him some Neosporin and Band-aids as well so he can cover it. I'm hoping it will heal right and he won't end up with another one. He has school tomorrow, so I told him that he needs to cover it when he goes to school and then when he gets home take everything off and let it have some air until he goes to bed. He doesn't work tomorrow, so that is a good thing.

That was it ... Family stuff and a bit of crafting! Now I'm just exhausted and I can't believe I have to go back to work already! I'm hoping I can get a little bit more coloring done tonight. We will see! Here is my ATC I finished:






This is Frost Dragon from Rick St. Dennis. I've colored this with Copic Markers. I did not do any layering with this image. I've added Wink of Stella clear on the jack-o-lantern and the dragon. I've used all scrap papers and did a bit of distressing to the two rectangle patterned paper pieces. The web ribbon was added and one black bling. I also did some ink on the kraft base. Pretty simple ATC!

Attitude ATC!*

Evening everyone! It has been a nice couple of days off. We never did make it to the movies. There just isn't anything that is screaming at us to see in the theater. So, we decided to skip that. We did go bowling yesterday though. And we spent more money than I thought; Bowling is Expensive! But we had so much fun. It has been forever since I bowled. Before my surgery, when I was at my heaviest, I wouldn't have been there. So, to be able to go out and bowl and have fun doing it was a blast! We played four games and I beat Kevin 3 out of 4! Whoop!! LOL

Today, we were going to see Ant Man, but decided that it just wasn't one of those movies that we had to see. We can wait for it to come out. So, we headed to Goodwill and bought a couple of King sized sheets and a couch for downstairs and some new stoneware plates. Then we came home and I've been crafting, he has been napping, playing games and we have been watching MotoGP Practice too. It was a rainy day today and getting a bit cooler. It was a great day!!

Alright.. on to why I'm posting. Here is an ATC I completed today:







This is Misha Fay from Smeared Ink. Isn't she great?! I love her! I colored her with Copic Markers and a little bit of At You Spica markers. I colored the roses and the heart with red and the necklace choker and spikes on the headband with silver. This is all black and white scrap papers. I inked the white with black ink. I added a couple of sequins, a couple of black pearls and some purple gems. I also added the black and white twine and the two little charms.  The sentiment I created. I added a bit of clear Wink of Stella to her eyes to give them a bit of sparkle! Love those alien eyes!

Halloween ATC.

Good morning! I keep thinking the weekend is here LOL  That makes for a long week! I'm off for the next two days, so I have a lot of work I have to get done today. I'm hoping to get some crafting done while I'm home, go to a movie with the hubby and maybe throw some Lacrosse balls at Bailey. We will see how that goes!

My mother's birthday was yesterday. Kevin and I took her to a nice lunch on Sunday to celebrate her birthday and I called her first thing this morning. Then I sent a text to all three of my kids and my sister so they wouldn't forget to call her LOL! Alright... on to my share for the day :)

Here is a little ATC I'm sharing today:







For this ATC I have used Candy Corn Ants from Doodle Pantry. I colored this image with my Copic Markers. I did a little bit of layering with this image. The ghost I covered with white Wink of Stella to give it a bit of a shine. All of the papers are scrap. I did a bit of black inking around the papers. I used yellow on the outside edges of the gem and then put an orange stripe down the middle of it. The 31 are Thickers.

Floral ATC*

Good morning! Saturday was a pretty lazy day. We did go out in the morning to Goodwill and then to pick up some dog treats. The rest of the day I colored and created. It was a good day. Today, we will be going to church a bit later, but I plan to have another day of rest and creating. I'm hoping to get a bit more coloring done and if I'm lucky, another card or two. If I'm lucky! LOL  We will see how that goes. I hope you all have a blessed Sunday and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Today I'm sharing an ATC I finished up with:








I had so much fun with this image! This is Keep In Faith from Ching-Chou Kuik. I colored this image with my Copic Markers. I did a little bit of layering on the image. I layered the flowers and branches. I added a little bit of clear Wink of Stella on her eyes. The swirls are die cut with a Cheery Lynn die and the butterfly is a die, but I'm not sure who that die belongs to. I added yellow glitter to the butterfly die and some blue pearls. The sunflowers at the top are cut using my Silhouette Cameo. I used all scraps for this. The ATC was cut using Kraft and then I used a scrap of dark blue and distressed the edge of that paper. I added a white doily which is under the flowers and butterfly towards the top. I added some Distress ink around the edge of the doily. Thanks for looking!!

Here is what I have created for the midway post at Open-Minded Crafting Fun:








I decided to create a little ATC of Santa at the beach!!  This image is Surfin' Santa from Digital Delights! I used some kraft cardstock and some blue cardstock to create water and beach by tearing and chalking the edges of the torn paper. I colored Surfin' Santa with my Copic Markers. I layered him a little bit. I created three surfboards with my Silhouette Cameo. Then I printed the Surf's Up and cut around the words with a Funky Tag Sizzlit. I used a couple of brads to attach the tags. I love this little Santa!  Hope you like him too :)

September DT Day at Meljen's Designs.

Good morning!

Today is my Design Team Day at Meljen's Designs. And I am loving working with the little dragons, so for this inspiration I have used Sleep Little Dragon and created an ATC with it:







I colored this little cutie up with my Copic Markers. I used the Colorless Blender to add some texture to him. I did a bit of decoupage on him.. his belly is rounded and popped and then his hands and feet are popped as well. I stamped the white paper with a couple of different stamps. I added the green and orange gems. I wrapped the twine in the middle and that is it!
