3 Girl JAM Blog Hop

Welcome to my stop on the "Thankful for 3 Girl JAM Fans Blog Hop!"  The 3 Girl JAM design team has joined up with a few of our friends and fans to put together an awesome hop full of inspiration and fun!

3 Girl JAM has put together an awesome prize package of crafty goodness!  To win it, all you have to do is leave a comment on each stop of the hop.  Easy peezy!

Here is my project for our Hop. Thankful... I am thankful for my friends. This is something I made for a friend at work who is expecting next month. :) I gave her the card and the stroller full of Kit Kats, along with a little outfit for her little precious package coming.

I created this little carriage using my Silhouette Cameo. I've used cardstock and patterned paper. The patterned paper is from a Mambi Stack. I've inked a lot of the papers with black ink. I've added some ribbon and some small and large blue pearls. I've used some twine to hang a carriage charm. I've used two brads on the carriage umbrella piece. And then of course I've filled it with yummy Kit Kats which I can't eat any longer LOL  Oh well! :D

For this bottle shaped card I have used a Tiddly Inks image, Lullaby. I've colored the image with my Copic Markers and I've done just a small amount of layering. I popped the mother up one level. I've used the same papers I used for the carriage project. I've also inked the papers with black ink. I've added some blue sequins, gems and pearls towards the top of the bottle. And I've also added some ribbon towards the bottom of the card. You can find Challenges that I have entered both projects in at the bottom of the post :)

Soccer Fun Congrats!*

Good morning everyone and happy Monday! It comes quickly, doesn't it! We had a really nice weekend! I took Bailey to work out with me on Saturday morning and then on the way home Kevin surprised me with "Hey, I've booked a lodge.. we are leaving when you get home and heading to North Georgia.". That was a nice surprise. We went to Hiawassee, GA overlooking Chatuge Lake. It was beautiful up there! We had a nice day! The bed was horrible though LOL We were up at 2:30 am and we headed home an hour later. When we got here... we went back to bed LOL It is always so nice to be in your own bed! Now, I'm heading off to work.. once again!

Here is my card for today:

For this card I've used M62 from Mari Digis. He is adorable! And I love soccer :)  My kids played when they were smaller. Now Bailey is into Lacrosse, which I love too! I REALLY enjoy watching the US Women's team play. Love it!! Anyway!! LOL  I've colored this image with my Copic markers. The card was cut using my Silhouette Cameo. Faery Ink March Inspiration

Good morning everyone! It has been a busy week... between doctor appointments, Kevin taking his driver's test, Lacrosse with Bailey and more! LOL  It has been super busy!  Still have a busy Friday and Saturday too .. and Sunday I think! Well.. Hopefully today I can relax a bit! And I can't think of anything more fun to do on my birthday than to share a Faery Ink creation!

Today I am sharing my Faery Ink inspiration post with you for March. Since I was not around in February, I wanted to use one of the new images from February, Autumn Rose Tea Witch. Here is what I have done with her:

I really wanted to do something unique with her, so I went with a shaped card. I love this cute from The Cutting Cafe. Everything was cut using my Cameo. I added a lot of details to this as well. I started off with the image and colored her up with my Prismacolor Pencils. I am having a lot of fun learning more layering with my pencils and experimenting with the different colors blending together. I love how her hair turned out! I did a bit of layering with the image. The I started cutting my pieces for the card. I have used a bunch of scraps on this card! All scraps as a matter of fact. I also used some glitter. I used some purple glitter on the spider and the legs. I used some black glitter for the belt, the show belt and the show heels. The buckles were all cut with gold paper. I added some pen detailing on the brook and around the legs and boots with both a white marker and a black marker. And I decided to make this a Birthday card, so I added the sentiment with some white ink. I love her! and I love how she came out with the pencils. I hope you like her!!

Thank You! at Meljen's Designs.

Good morning! Thursday!  Woot!!  And I've been so busy at work.. a bit behind even and can't seem to get back caught up. So.. I will go in today and plug along. I can only do what I can! Last night I took Bailey, one of Bailey's friends, Michael and my sister to see the latest installment of The Hunger Games. WellStar has given us the ability to see each of these new releases a couple of days before the release and this one was no exception. The kids were really excited. Now they will be at school bragging about seeing the movie two days before it comes out LOL We had a great time... It was good to spend some time with my sister.

Today we are on Challenge #237 at Meljen's Designs! Our theme this time is Thank You! And I really had to figure out what the heck to do.. so this is what I came up with:

I made three of these little star cards using Army Bear. You can find him at the Meljen's Designs Shop. The star shape is from an SVG file. The die cut around the image is a Spellbinders die. Thank you is stamped. He is colored with Copic markers.. all three of them. I added the gems and the star and some netting behind the image.

Getting Spooky at The East Wind.

Good morning! Can you believe we are halfway through October? I can't believe it! Let's see... what's been going on? Bailey played a Lacrosse game on Saturday and they really got beat badly. But the girls played hard all the way through. So proud of them! There are only a couple of more games to go for the fall. Bailey seems to really like it though and she will keep practicing through until Spring. That's about it. I was feeling rotten all weekend... glad we are halfway through the week now. And yesterday... I thought it was Wednesday all day!!! Ughhhhhhhh I hate that!! LOL But!! It has been a good week so far at work. My desk is clear, I'm all caught up and my email box is manageable!! Hope you all have a wonderful rest of your week!

Today we are staring Challenge #17 with a theme of The Spooks Come Out At Night at The East Wind! Here is what I have come up with for this Challenge.. can't wait to see yours too!!

So, for this one I chose to use Lucy Loo Vampire Queen. LOVE HER!!!  You can find her at The East Wind Shop. I colored her with my Copic Markers. I cut the coffin shape with the Silhouette Cameo. I also cut the embossed paper and the Happy Halloween with the Cameo as well. I lined the edge with red twine. Thats it.. No decoupage.. pretty simple card. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with!!!

Thursday's With Meljen's Designs.

Happy Thursday everyone!!  I'm off of work until next Tuesday. Took a little vacation; not doing anything special but needed a nice break. We are going to my sisters on Friday for the 4th of July. Other than that I will be staying at home unless it cools down a bit LOL!  It's so hot!!

On to today's challenge. Today is the new challenge at Meljen's Designs --Challenge #217: Button It Up! I made a shaped card ... using my Silhouette! I'm so excited! I have had it sitting here for a couple of weeks and today I decided to get busy trying to figure it out and I'm so excited I bought it! So, this is my first shot using it and here is what I came up with:

The bottle card was created using the Silhouette. The stitched circle die is from My Favorite Things. The image is Little Baby Dragon which you can of course find at the Meljen's Designs Shop. I colored the image with my Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol. I decoupaged his cute little feet and his head. I added the ribbon, the twine and the buttons to finish it off. The Congratulations is a stamp and the Baby Boy on the inside was also cut with the Silhouette. I added a bit of chalk to the pink top of the bottle around the edge and the nipple and blue chalk on the blue strip to add a little bit of depth. I'm really pleased with how my first shot with the Silhouette came out!
