BOY TOY - Touch My Body 12"

Electronic body music known as "Belgian New Beat" ,back in 1989 on Kaos Records ,out of Belgium.Techno/disco ,grimy acid, slutty dungeon music ,whatever you want to call it ,this was a side project by the guys in Lords Of Acid. The chick on the cover looks like she needs a shave in the nether regions , side B is an instrumental version ,so you can karaoke to it!! I did not pay $7.49 at Vinyl Fever for this! Thrift store find!

DYNASTY - I Don't Want To Be A Freak (But I Can't Help Myself) b/w Your Piece Of The Rock

Substansial disco/funk ,from this band's first single,1979. I think The Sylvers are tied in with these folks. The pic is from their 1st album ,which also has these 2 songs on it.Dance your freaky ass off! Side b could be a tune that Prudential Insurance could use on their commercials,ha ha.

LADY GAGA COVERED IN JISM

This is a palette of diverse artists, ranging from Cartman (of South Park fame),to Richard Cheese,to more contemporary artists like Katy Perry,Hayley Williams(of the band Paramore), and Chris Daughtry ,as well as screamo, acoustic, instrumental ,disco, and other styles of artists, all covering the songs of Lady Gaga. The artwork is from the October 2010 edition(#31) of Retard Riot (300 copies) art zine.(check out http://retardriot.com/ ) I know there's a ton more cover versions out there, this is just a comp. of a few comps, plus a bunch of bonus tracks I found here and there.Even if you don't like her,you gotta hear Cartman and Richard Cheese at least! Can't deny the cultural impact, with so many covers! Weird Al Yankovic ,also has a cover coming out on his new album. You can hear it here: http://youtu.be/fUxXKfQkswE

DADDY DEWDROP -Nanu Nanu (I Wanna Funky Wich You) b/w The Real Thing

"Chick-a- Boom Chick-a -Boom Dontcha Jes Love It." That's the guy that did this single ,in the pic above.Side A is comparable to Disco Tex and the Sexolettes or P-Funk (without Bootsy and the metal tendencies),kinda funky/cheesy disco.Side B sounds like a totally different band, with a sound ranging from early OMD,to late model Human League. The dude in the photo, doesn't look like either one of these types of music.

VILLAGE PEOPLE-food fight

Yeah I know these guys suck, and I only give you one side of this 7",because the other side is a disco ballad, that really blows. But this song, which you may find hard to believe is the real Village People,is a genuine piece of punk/new wave history, that few have heard, due to the disco connection.Probably released around the time the movie Animal House came out, seeing how the song is titled,"Food Fight".Food, you may need to cover this song,at some point!Keyboard driven, quirky new wave, with punky vocals, this should not be missed.C'mon ,2:31 of greatness awaits!
