"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

I LONG 2 SEE YA / CFC #75, 10MCD #5, CCC #16...

Well, the kids are in bed, I'm watching re-runs of Castle and I have a quick little card to share! It's my pleasure to play along with the 10 Minute Craft Dash! I didn't time this card, but it didn't take long, since I had some pre-cut pieces laying around. You can also tell I was in a hurry since my coloring is a little crude - LOL!

I used Party Animal, from the The Alley Way Stamps! I love love love giraffes! And who wouldn't want a pink and orange giraffe for a pet? I also used TAWS sentiments from various sets.... to many to list!

So for this card I combined three challenge; CAS-ual Fridays, 10 Minute Craft Dash & CASology! Nothing better to get your mojo going than playing along with great challenges!

I made soup tonight, Turkey Vegetable.... looks yummy, huh?

ARIELLE'S TURKEY VEGGIE SOUP

Ingrdients:
1 onion, diced
3 - 5 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb. ground turkey
1/2 tsp Italian herbs
1 tsp ground pepper
1 lg can of Veg-all, juice included
1 sm can of chili beans, drained & rinsed
1 lg can of petite diced tomatoes, juice included
6 cups of chicken stock
1 cup water
1 beef bouillon cube
couple dashes of Worcestershire
couple dashes of hot sauce
dash of cumin
dash of ground chipotle
1/2 bag of spinach
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
Saute the onion and garlic in olive oil. When the garlic starts to brown, add your turkey. As you cook the turkey, break it up with a spatula and add your ground pepper and herbs. Once the turkey is no longer pink, add the rest of the ingredients. Let simmer 20 minutes and you're ready to eat!

I add dashes of things like chipotle and cumin just to give a little extra  dimension of flavor. If you left them out, you probably wouldn't notice much!

Have a great night!
