Steve’s Debut Ebooks—Coming This Month!
I had to end the summer of 2012 with something done and going into publication—and despite juggling much work, too much (unplanned for) travel, and a head-spinning summer all-in-all, I managed to complete work on and deliver to my ebook publisher-of-choice two “somethings” soon to debut from Crossroad Press.
Delivered and coming this month from Crossroad Press: WONDERS! Millennial Marvel Movies: The Best of S.R. Bissette’s Blur, Volume 1: Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Animation, 1999-2001 (below) and HORRORS! Cults, Crimes, & Creepers: The Best of S.R. Bissette’s Blur, Volume 2: Horror, Cult & Crime Cinema, 1999-2001 (above), with cover art by yours truly, designed and executed by Cayetano “Cat” Garza, Jr.
I’m also about to deliver my first ebook all about comics, S.R. Bissette’s On/In Comics—Bryan Talbot: Dreams & Dystopias (manuscript completed, awaiting Bryan‘s final proofing/polish of the completed interview text), with a second volume forthcoming later this fall focusing on the great Alan Moore, including two complete interviews I conducted with Alan back in 1991-1992.
Work continues on my primary 2012 book project, S.R. Bissette’s How to Make a Monster (Watson-Guptill, slated for 2014 publication), with new “how to draw monsters” chapters going to my editor this and next week—and throughout the next two months—and more!

Can you say PROLIFIC?!
Never purchased an ebook. This may force me to get one of those durned contraptions…
Crossroads Press is a good outfit — a real digital pioneer and a major supporter of genre titles. Owner David Niall Wilson has created a great home for a lot of writers. I look forward to picking these up.
